Dr. Siddhant Mehta, MD

I went to Dr. Mehta with a humerus fracture in my left upper arm a little over a month ago. The first doctor who saw me said that I would need surgery. However, after looking at my x-rays Dr. Mehta assured me that I would not need surgery at all. Instead, he recommended rest and physical therapy. It turns out that Dr. Mehta was right. My injury is healing quite nicely, and I should be fully recovered shortly without any surgery at all. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Mehta discussed all of my options and kept on top of my progress.I give Dr. Mehta the highest recommendation possible.

I saw Dr. Mehta for a rotator cuff repair. It was the 2nd one in my left shoulder. He reviewed my x-ray and patiently explained that what was need what not a rotator cuff repair but a reverse shoulder replacement because the tendon was too far gone. What impressed me was that rather than schedule surgery immediately, he suggested I wait. I still had full range of motion without much pain. He was more concerned about the quality of my life and recovery than his pocketbook. He was patient, explained his reasoning and warned me against trying to repair the rotator cuff and what the consequences would be. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Mehta. You don't find many doctors like him and when I am ready, he will do my surgery.

Dr. Mehta operated on a cut I got on my knee the Beginning of this month March 2021 at Palisades Medical, since Then I have had 2 follow up visits with him. His staff is extremely friendly and very professional. They make you feel at home and every time you call they get on the phone right away or Call back in a timely manner. As far as Dr. Mehta, he is a wonderful doctor. He is very personable, friendly, professional and I truly believe he has his patient’s best interest at heart. I am very pleased and thankful that he was the surgeon that took care of me. He was very thorough in explaining the entire Procedure and asked if there were any other questions he needed to answer. As far as I am concerned, as I said in the office more than once he has “angelic hands”. I don’t think my scar will be very noticeable, he did a great job!!!!
