Dr. Sidney Neimark, MD

I have been Dr Neimark’s patient for 20 years and saw himYesterday. He was, as he always is kind, knowledgeable, respectful and provided plenty of time for my many questions. If only all doctors were like him healthcare would be in a much better place. He called me promptly with lab results and explained what needed to be ordered and done in the future. His office staff Ophelia on the desk and Mayra (forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) his MA were both charming and professional.I would highly recommend both he and his staff…

I had a colonoscopy 4 weeks ago. I called Dr. Neimark’s office on Oct. 26 because I had a problem with my bowel movement. NO ONE called me back. After 3 hours of calling the office and no callback during office hours I had to go to the hospital. Since I have left numerous messages and the Dr. has not called. I know Dr. Neimark for 22 years. He is an excellent Dr. However, there is a real problem with the way the office conducts business. If the doctor could be reached during office hours, I wouldn’t have gone to the emergency room. Shame on all. This lack of response is unacceptable and unprofessional. Linda Siegfeld

I have going to Dr. Neimark since 2002. He treated me successfully for Hep C. I also get my colonoscopies & endoscopy’s from him every couple of years. He’s ALWAYS been professional and explains everything about what he treats me for. He’s a very focused doctor and his staff are always very attentive. He’s an excellent Gastro. surgeon. I don’t understand the bad comments either unless the patient didn’t like what he had to say, that’s the patients problem! Not Dr. Neimarks. I can’t even imagine not diagnosing any patient wrong or being indifferent. He’s an excellent doctor!

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Neimark. I found him direct and focused on the issue I was presenting and a direction to take to correctly diagnose my problem. Tests were scheduled, results were communicated. I am not looking for a best friend in a Doctors office but rather a competent diagnostician. This was my experience. The entire office staff were a delight. I do not recognize the negative comments as an experience I witnessed. Perhaps people like myself do not write on comment boards and mostly negative experiences are posted. My visit was in Jan 2020 and only now felt perhaps I need to comment. Sorry it took so long.

Very uncaring and dismissive.

Terrible bedside manner. He made up his mind about my care before he even talked to THE PATIENT (me).

My experience from Rachel in scheduling to Irma his nurse and Terry his office mgr were exceptional. Dr. Neimark made me feel as if he was taking his time & listening to me. I did my first colonoscopy & endoscopy with him and was out in an hour. I can't understand these questionable reviews & feel maybe Healthgrades is biased. Says there are 7 reviews, including some 5 star but all that shows is, 3 year old, one star reviews. Please consider the source before discounting a wonderful staff.

I echo what has been said in the other reviews. Dr. Neimark was not prepared for my visit after receiving records from my primary care doctor as a referral. He was rude, proceeded to prescribe medication before reviewing my medical records, and then charged $240 dollars for a 45 minute visit that was useless. He is the worst medical practitioner I have every experienced. Very sad!

Dr. Neimark does not relate to patients well. However, what I found most painful was the fact that the first invoice I received from his center was a demand letter. I promptly paid, but I suggest in the future that he and his staff treat their patients with a little more respect. Avoid if you can because he is below average and the rest of the experience is terrible.
