Dr. Sigal Tene, MD

I developed a breathing problem in June and an X-ray exam suggested something seriously wrong with my bronchus. My family and I immediately made an urgent request for an appointment with pulmonary specialists in the bay area, yet in part because of the deepening covid crisis, an appointment could only be arranged weeks later despite the life-threatening situation I was facing. The only exception was Dr. Sigal Tene. Despite her heavily packed agenda, she took up my case without any delay upon learning about my condition, and started its diagnosis and treatment before it was too late. Thanks to her timely, capable, and very effective intervention, and owing also to all the medical resources she has opened up for me, my lung problem has since been greatly improved and a cure is in sight. Dr. Tene is not just the most capable, but also the most caring of the medical professionals I have ever seen. I owe so much to her, and to her most humane and just as capable assistant Maria.

I went to her because of a lung problem but because of her being such a thorough doctor who investigates every avenue of your problem. She found something that was outside my lung problem that was causing so much of my bad health problems and sent me to a specialist who took care of it. If it wasn’t for her being determined to find out what was wrong, my unknowing problem could have lingered until it did more damage. I thank her so much for being the best and caring doctor.

She was rude to my husband ( the patient) & to me, his wife. She treated me as if I didn’t understand the medical situation, & wanted to make life & death decisions for my husband. I’m a registered nurse & feel like the medical decisions she made, did not honor our requests at all. Her bedside manner is unexceptable. I would never recommend her to anyone!

The most thorough doctor I have ever seen. Makes you comfortable yet tells you like it is.
