I have been Dr. Silva’s patient for about 9 years now. I can say that she has changed the way I view healthcare professionals. She emits a great sense of peace and kindness in each and every one of my consults. She has an uncanny ability to make me express my problems and concerns without feeling uncomfortable, almost as if I were speaking to a friend. She is extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. Before I was fortunate enough to be referred to her I had seen a few other psychiatrist, that I felt, would push their theories and biases without truly considering my personal circumstances. However, Dr.Silva is not that kind of doctor. She truly listens and I always feel better as I walk out of her office. Dr. Silva always asks me important questions pertaining to my situation; she asks about issues she knows affects me and make me look at situations with a new perspective. She has helped me immensely and I hope she continues practicing and truly helping her patients for years to come.

will not recommend released my father in law from mental hospital even tho he was unstable mentally, he was back at another mental facility the next day, she is impossible to contact

This dr. Actually cares and has a human heart. Many psychiatrist do not seem to care, but she does. She would not let me do whatever I wanted bc she was concerned, and she would always do what was best. Because of this quality, she saved my life. And at the last time I visited her, I was pregnant... So she and her decisions saved this baby's life too! He is born a normal and healthy baby, thanks to her.
