Strict but fair because he needs to be!
Due to the DEA & other organizations making it very difficult for pain patients to receive opioids & innocent doctors getting arrested for prescribing them, Dr. Feng must be strict & ensure patient's are taking their meds & correctly (by requiring urine tests/pill counts). This also protects him from the DEA. It seems a lot of patients don't understand this. He also can't prescribe as much medication that some patients would like (& usually need), & they get upset, but the majority of doctors aren't prescribing ANY opioids these days & making patients just suffer. Pill counts can be frustrating at times, because occasionally errors are made but usually there isn't an issue. He is very patient & spends the time to listen to his patients. He also gives patients many, many chances & doesn't just fire them for failing a UA screen or pill count even if the patient was found to be taking unprescribed meds or the wrong amts. He works with them. I want a careful dr or I won't have one!

Negligent, appalling, and unprofessional
If you are seeking a pain clinic for a disability or illness- this is not the physician for you. Dr.Feng has an obligation to inform the patient that they are not a proper candidate for his scope of practice. Under his care a veteran was treated as an addict- without his knowledge mind you- verses a patient that is prescribed opioids for pain management. Dr. Feng proceeded to prescribe an opioid that is specifically created for opioid addiction- not for chronic pain. After extended use of said prescription, pain was still unmanaged and little solution was provided. After seeking a second opinion, we began to ask questions regarding to why they felt this specific drug was appropriate only to learn his status as an addict per their charting. I find this behavior negligent, appalling, and unprofessional.

In it for the money...that's it. And shame on Indiana for allowing him to skate around laws. A probation like office as he owns and runs the drug rehab aswell as mental pysch ward down road so you'll be treated like a crazed drug addict if you're going for pain medicine management. CPP beware. The only good thing is he allows you to violate law and smoke Marijuana unlike all other Drs in Indiana which is both awesome and questionable as if he can do that what else is he doing too?

BIGGEST MISTAKE!! Your experience will start out great.. they will be nice and professional. By your 3rd visit they start degrading you.. they start making assumptions. Not to mention you only see Feng for initial visit afterwards, it's a NP. If you are a true Chronic pain patient do NOT go to this practice which is opioid management group. IMO this facility needs investigated by state and insurance. They lie to state and insurance to "cover their side". The staff is mostly disrespectful (a few are nice) AND they don't call you back either. Just to also let you know DEA has raided office 2 times that I know of... while he ended up ok...it's only time before him and associates go down. If I could leave a negative star I would.

Absolutely a pathetic scam. A person that hands out med is far from a doctor. They are unprofessional to say the least and have now made it almost impossible to get the medication I have been on for 15yrs. There is no help out there anymore and all these people do is force you to sit in a room for 45m then pee in a cup, hand you a piece of paper, then bill you $80. And the staff is as bad as he is. Its a scam and unethical.

The 5 star review years ago was by me. I need to make anyone considering seeing feng aware that my family's view has 100% changed due to the incredibly poor/punitive/dehumanizing care we experienced in the years since. What the other reviewers have written about is true. I was even gaslit and told that other doctors would not take me, as i was a "liability". We finally had enough and sought a new doctor. Sure enough, we have received FAR better care and are no longer treated like problems.

Long wait in waiting room. Dr. was friendly but cut you off while talking to explain himself. I felt he did not listen effectively and preached more than listened.
