Dr. Simon Humphries, MD

Simon Humphries is NOT a professional doctor! We came in with my elderly mom who has dementia and mobility issues. While trying to sign-in at the front desk, this awful person yelled at us from the back of the office. This was the first time I met him and the second time my mom came into the office. The whole time, this disgusting man belittled my elderly father and showed no concerns for my mom. He berated us and my mom for not moving quick enough to undress. He has Zero empathy for his patient (my mom). I'm not sure what was wrong with this man but I know for sure that he should NOT be a doctor or working with patients-people. I will be filing a complaint with the medical board for his dismissal. We felt so disgusted and bullied by his behavior and actions.

I've been a patient of Simon Humphries for over 20 years and will probably stay with him until I die. He has a very good bedside manner and he is extremely knowledgeable in his profession. I go to him for every medical problem I have because he's always on top of things and he makes sure I'm well taken care of. I've never had any problems or issues with him and his staff. They are all very friendly, efficient and I'm always treated with great respect and courtesy.

My friend and I went there for simple checkups once, but we had been dealing with their insurance mistakes for months after! The office manager failed to process our insurance information, although we presented all our insurance documents at the office, emailed her , and had numerous phone calls with her. However, we are still receiving ~$300 bills every month! The office mgr proudly told me she is not responsible to resolve our cases as she doesn't earn commission for the job!

Dr Humphries seemed nice enough - but when I got the bill, he claimed to have done a psych evaluation and claimed I was anxious... which is ridiculous. I cam win to get a Rx for a blood test for insurance purposes at work. I'm 42 yr old successful executive at a large tech company. So when I confronted him or asked of him to adjust the billing codes he used - he claimed "I was the most anxious patient he had ever met" - his office manager gave my wife and I the run around for weeks incorrectl

Looking for a new Doctor. I contacted this office to confirm that they are still accepting patients and that they take our new Insurance. I got their name from our insurance company website indicating that they accepted it but some one the site are not. The person who answered the phone in broken English said that she could not confirm that their office accepted out insurance and I should contact the insurance company. There was no way she could tell me before I came in for an appointment. ??
