Dr. Simon Lipetz has been my primary care physician for more than a decade. He is an excellent doctor who has consistently provided me with exceptional care. Although there were longer wait times a few years ago, the situation has improved significantly recently. The nurses at the office are also highly skilled and professional. However, I believe that the front office staff could benefit from being more friendly and attentive.

Amazing Doctor Highly recommend.
Lived in forest hills and went to him for many years. After moving to Long Island I tried so many doctors and by far he is the absolute best.

My original appt was cancelled less than a day by the Doctor. No reason given. Not a huge problem because it was rescheduled a couple of days later, but still annoying. Day of the appt, I waited over an hour before the Lipitz saw me. Staff was incredibly rude and uncaring (especially the Indian admin who looked and acted as if though she was a robot). I have no idea what kind of doctor Simon Limpitz is, but considering that's how he runs his business, I will never go back again.

He performs all kinds of unnecessary tests. Everyone whom I recommended, including myself, was diagnosed with heart murmur so that heart ultrasound could be done in his office.. Emphasizes the importance of chest X-ray regardless of unnecessary exposure to radiation. After a routine annual check-up they called me to schedule an appointment so that I could see the doctor and discuss the results. The nurse said I had diabetes, but when I got there it was high cholesterol???

Beside the long wait the Dr is friendly and you can get most of your lab ,X-ray ,and other tests on the spot . So it make it easy .

Had an appointment with doctor at 1:45 waited to 2:45 PM asked the rude receptionist how long of a wait she has informed me that he is still seeing AM pertinence I left and told her to have the Dr call me. He called me at night telling me how sorry he was running late and that he would be in the office the next day. and that I should come in at 11:30 AM I went there at the time and the rude receptionist informed me that the doctor in not in on Wed and she is not sure where he is at.

My mom recommended him when I urgently needed a doctor and I couldn't be happier. He's an encyclopedia and he can explain it all slowly and carefully. Really great bedside manner too, I felt very comfortable the whole time.

Came in for a blood test at 10:30 AM was scheduled for 11:15 AM, left at 1PM and was not even seen. Confronted doctor about abnormally long wait, blamed my insurance for god knows what reason.. Runs all sorts of unnecessary tests to squeeze money from your insurance, morally unethical man who does not care about his patients and will exert all his efforts into stealing every penny he can from you and your insurance.
