Dr. Simona Treidler, MD

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Dr.Treidler is one of the most caring, compassionate and knowledgeable doctors. Before her I had 3 neurologist tell me that I was fine and brush my symptoms under the carpet. I’m so grateful I met Dr. Treidler. She truly saved my life. There was one point throughout this journey when I was even paralyzed. She told me I would walk again, that we will get me there. She wasn’t wrong. I am walking again! Dr.Treidler also listens to my concerns and we always work on plans for my future together. You are NOT just another ticket to Dr. Treidler. She truly cares about her patients and her work. I could go on and on. She is an amazing doctor.

When I first met Dr. Treidler it was back in 2019, I was navigating severe muscle weakness in my body, and knew I had issues from falling a few times. The precursor was Dystrophy as a result of EMG testing, which led me to this talented Doctor. Dr. Treidler immediately knew what was going on and diagnosed me with FSHD Muscular Dystrophy, a rare disorder with no cure. Needless to say I was taken aback with the news, however her amazing demeanor, medical acumen, has taken me on a journey of negotiating this illness. Simply stated, Dr. Simona Treidler is one of the best muscular neurologists in the country. Intelligent doctor with a great bedside manner. Takes her time explaining my conditions as well as possible solutions and always answers any questions that I may have. Dr. Treidler is always available and has gone above and beyond for me. She has become more of well-knowledged friend as opposed to just another doctor. 100% Recommended!

Yes she is thorough but I believe she is an alarmist and leans more towards the scientific end of the spectrum . I do not believe that makes for a good doctor. A good doctor is someone who looks at the whole patient not just as a specimen to be examined and treated with drugs. Speaking of drugs she couldn’t have been more wrong about how much the current medication that I am on and have been taking for over 30 years helps me. Way off.

Dr Treidler was absolutely wonderful. She is the most caring and patient neurologist that I have ever seen and unfortunately I have seen my fair share. I highly recommend her.
