Dr. Sissi Selinger, DO

ZERO STARS. I saw Dr. Selinger during a stint she was working in Las Vegas (wonder why she isn’t in Vegas anymore! ) she was the only doctor I could find that was taking new patients, and NOW I KNOW WHY!!! I came to her with some very serious problems I had been having and was at my whits end trying to find answers. She takes one look at me, first visit, no labs, no tests and says “you’re experiencing these symptoms because you’re probably diabetic” I was DUMBFOUNDED. I am not obese, nor am I diabetic! I had a previous doctor who found a fibroid pretty large for someone my age, was told the size of a kiwi and wanted to explore my options to treat or remove it and had concerns of possible endo. She does an ultra sound and tells me my fibroid is pretty much non existent and doesn’t need any attention. Then tells me all my problems can be fixed with birth control. I told her I didn’t want birth control because I have adverse effects, she said I was crazy and it was all in my head and bi

Long story short, condescending and rude. One of those higher than thou doctors, will belittle your feelings and opinions. Steer clear!

If you are looking for a menopause specialist she is not the GYN that will help you with current medical evidence on HRT benefits.

Dr. Selinger is a horrible doctor. She does not review patient notes or files before walking in to the exam room. Some people excuse her behavior by saying she is "straight forward" and "matter of fact." These are just excuses for her being a jerk. You can be straight forward & also have tact. She rushes through exams, doesn't listen, doesn't like questions & over books appts. Wait time for me is always over an hour. I've been seeing her for four years. She never remembers anything about me. She is rude and cares about the money, not her patients. Walking in to her office and being treated by her is like walking up to the bully at school and having to get naked in front of them and let them explore your vagina while they are in the middle of shaming you and belittling you. A good doctor with any sort of bedside manner would make some effort to make you feel comfortable. This isn't coddling an over-sensitive person, it's being a professional health care provider.

She was horrible and rude. She deliver my last child, and the experience was horrible. From the dr. Visit to the delivery day. On the day of my delivery she came in with a student, during my labor she was giving a lesson on me and birth. She never asked me if I was okay with it. When I complain to the hospital, she found out and waited for the last visit after birth to tell me that she was told of my experience with her and she said she no longer wanted to be my doctor. She is unprofessional, even her staff would tell me she is mean and rude. She is always having students with her, so if this is your first time and wanted to be and experience with you and your doctor stay away from her. She always seems in a bad mood, you don’t feel comfortable to tell her anything, she rushes out.

I love Selinger. She has delivered 2 of my babies. There has been no issues.

Worst place if you’re pregnant the staff doesn’t know what they’re doing. I’ve been trying to see the dr since early Jan and instead of booking appointments they just put you on cancellation wait lists. Now staff claims I can’t be seen there

Very unhappy with her whole attitude very uncaring if you are not happy delivering babies then find a new profession!!

She is completely disassociated from her profession. There is no care in her medical care practice. This transcends to her entire staff. The front office act as gatekeepers. If you actually need care for your women's health, go elsewhere. It took them a whole week to call me back after I had ended up in the hospital. I miscarried and had to have a D&C the week after. She acts like your concerns are annoying her and all your questions are dumb. I would hope for more education and care.

Dr Selinger delivered both my children via c sections and I cant say enough great things about her. She is very thorough and professional. I healed in remarkable time and dont have a doubt that it was because I was in good hands

reaching out to my specialist doctor for further steps. Dr. Selinger then stormed out of the room stating i can find another doctor. Dr. Selinger is neglectful and completely unprofessional. Now I am having a hard time finding a new OB to accept my case.

We are very dissapointed with Dr. Sissi so far after the first visit with my Fiance. My Fiance had a bacterial infection found during the first visit to Dr. Sissi. She is only 10 weeks pregnant and was prescribed a medication that could potentially be harmful to our baby. My Fiance had to find out from the pharmacist that is is not recommended to take the medication until she is at least 14 weeks pregnant. This negligence to inform us could've resulted in permanent birth defects. Terrible.

Dr. Sissi Selinger was my Doctor through out my entire last pregnancy, up till the day I gave birth. She happened to be out of town and could not make it in time. She is absolutely amazing. She treated me and my children like family. I love her and her office. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Selinger's for 13 years and would highly recommend her. Her and her staff are always helpful and I feel like more than just a "patient" when I go there. Dr. Selinger always listens to me and takes the time I need to answer questions or concerns I may have. I know sometimes she gets called away for an emergency but her and her staff are always as accommodating as possible and try to get you seen in a timely manner (way quicker than other OB/GYN offices).

Based on other reviews I was fully expecting a fire eating dragon with horns and a long tail. Instead in walks a woman exuding the most calming influence doing nothing but smiling graciously, warmly and calming my worst fears about having to have another uterine biopsy. She has been, hands down, the best doctor I have seen in Temecula and I have seen a lot of them! She was unhurried, treated me with dignity, and assured me she would do her best to keep the pain at a minimum. A wonderful doc.

I absolutely loved her! She delivered both of my children at Rancho Springs. I was high risk with both pregnancies and whenever I had an issue trying to get ultrasound appointments at the hospital, she would call over and get them scheduled for me. She's amazing! She doesn't sugar coat things, so if you are looking for someone to hold your hand and tell you everything is right in the world you won't like her. She knows her stuff, won't lie to you, great Doctor!!

She is cold and non personable. Saw her on two occasions one for a well woman exam and one for a colposcopy, she had problems doing the procedure sent her nurse for a different tool ( it wasn't biting) this was torturous and she had no compassion for the pain she was inflicting, left the room right after didn't tell me what to expect - nothing. She terminated my care when she heard I had shared my horrible experience on facebook with a friend which validated my opinion of her. Stay away!

Horrible customer service. She has no manners and she is rude to the family and everyone around - not polite or even courteous to the hospital staff. She can only look into a woman's crutch and wait for a child to come out. Nasty woman.

I am speaking on behalf of my daughter who, for reasons, will not complete this at this time. Do NOT trust this doctor. List of facts during child birth - 26 hr labor - would not dilate - would not take c section even knowing baby pooped inside sack at the beginning and heart rates had dropped plus 2 doses of Pitocin. Told my daughter doctors don't do episiotomies any longer - LIE. Result? Terrible tearing. First baby. Trusted her doctor and the story doesn't end here. Gets worse
