Very impressed
I have only had one pre-op appointment, however, this appointment was way over and above what I expected. The doctor spent more than 30 minutes with me, assessing my need for surgery and going over every possible scenario. She asked multiple times if I had any questions. My husband was with me and she included him in the conversation. I feel very secure about going forward with her.

Dr Kommaredi is an outstanding surgeon. I will not lie, she is very matter of fact but never, ever wanted us to not know facts about my father’s case. She is beyond meticulous with treatment plans, surgeries, and follow up care. My father’s case was incredibly complex and she handled its lengthy and complicated issues with confidence and great knowledge. Her communication with us was always honest, timely, and she was conservative when needed and very proactive when needed as well. She saved his life a few times and we are grateful for her knowledge and expertise.

Horrible
Dr K’s compassion, empathy, kindness and professional knowledge is worse than Dr House on the show House Her reply/answer to my painful lipomas/Drecum syndrome was “I’m not feeling anything. I’m going to send you to a pain doctor. There is some thing else wrong with you because you’re sensitive all over.” I left crying

I would absolutely recommend her to friends. She did a surgical procedure on me and she could not have been more informative or professional. One thing that I was real impressed with was the fact she came into surgery prior to my general anesthesia to hold my hand. Not that I needed it but because I think that is what she does to express care and puts her patients at ease. She was also made my husband feel inclusive in my care. Shes definitely a five star in my book!!

I waited a 1/2 hour and when she came in, she was rushed and didn't seem to care about my pain. She said she had seen my condition before but didn't seem to know what to do about it She gave me a folder and said "call this pain center" and that was that. I have called her back three times due to my pain concerns and she never returned my calls. The pain center has taken 3 weeks for me to see them. Meanwhile I still have sharp pains.

One of the worst doctors I've ever been to. Snotty and condescending. Nearly forgot to put gloves on before examining me. Thoroughly unprofessional. Her front office staff were phoney and seemed uninterested. Avoid this "doctor."

Dr. Kommareddi was so personal and genuinely seemed to care about my pain. She was not in a hurry and did not leave before answering all my questions. If you need to call her post surgery she will actually call you back. Super skilled, thorough and very professional yet friendly. I immediately trusted her for a good outcome and I got one!

I woke up during surgery when my port was being installed. Dr. Kommareddi could careless and in essence blamed me for waking up. My port failed 3 months later. The staff is disorganized, will call and forget why they called you. They will not always deliver messages, and you have to repeatedly call to get documents.

From the very beginning Dr. Kommareddi was fabulous. She took the time to educate me on my condition and her recommended treatment. In surgery her manner was professional and caring. She took the time to talk to with my wife about the upcoming procedure. She is a skilled authentic and transparent human being who thoroughly conveys her genuine concern. Surgical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital is skilled and projects a positive and caring culture. I had a great experience.

Great surgeon and person. Made me feel comfortable for both surgeries. The staff is great as well. Friendly, personable and professional. I had such good recovery time from such a expert surgery that I didn't feel much of an impact of lost time or physical pain. I refer her to many people now and I know who I will come back to in the future if I need anything.
