Dr. Sohil Patel, MD

Dr Patel was very knowledgeable and professional. He communicated clearly with me about a few issues and suggested a solution that I can carry out myself. Much appreciated.

Not good. He is young and his inexperience shows. They say they have , but I made an appointment twice and it didn't work. The first time I waited 90 minutes . I called the office after 30 minutes to inquire if I was on the correct site and they told me I was the next patient. so after another hour I finally hung up. No one ever called or explained what happened. When I later asked them about it they said they didn't know and recorded it as 'no show'. When I explained I had proof that I had contacted them and waited they still refused to change the no show and would not or could not provide an explanation of why it happened.

On time. Never had to wait and he was up to date on everything in he chart and spent time covering all my concerns

Dr Patel is very professional, detailed, and takes the time to explain the treatment.

I like Dr. Patel as he is thoughtful, knowledgeable and caring. In the past, I used to get frustrated with his staff and office responsiveness. I do not feel that way anymore. For this past year or so, the team in place is responsive and they seem upbeat and happy. Everyone is friendly and kind.

Great doctor, explains all I need to do to accomplish my A1C goals.

Dr. Patel always takes his time during my appointments. He never rushes and makes sure I understand all of my healthcare concerns.

Staff doesn't know their jobs. Dr. Patel seems like he is guessing most of the time. Rx's never refilled on proper date always had to wait for him to click a button, often having to go to the E.R. and be admitted until he would finally refill much needed meds.

I'm very unhappy with this doctor. I had lab work *fasting) on Thurs. , the lab told me the results would be in before the end of the day. Dr. Patel has delayed posting the results while he takes Friday and the weekend off. His staff refuses to disclose the results to me. He refuses to treat pain issues also. He doesn't seem to believe me about my health history either.

I cannot get an appointment! Been trying for 10 days and no return call from Dr Patel. Why does it take 15-20 minutes for someone to answer their phone?

Dr. Patel was extremely thorough during my annual adult physical examination. Dr. Patel took the time to explain, in detail, the importance of looking to the future for health concerns. I feel that Dr. Patel is very proactive on the current state of health of the patient, as well as how health issues can progress in the future. Dr. Patel took the time to print out literature on diet suggestions. Dr. Patel was not rushed to finish my appointment. For the first time in a long time with a health care provider, I felt as if all of my needs and concerns were listened to and being addressed with compassion. I left the office feeling that I had a complete and thorough physical examination.

Dr. Patel is an outstanding physician. I truly trust him with my life, and would recommend him to anyone in the Toledo area. He ACTUALLY listens and ACTUALLY cares. As an aspiring med student I’ve been blessed to have him as my doctor because he has shown me how to be a great doctor. He doesn’t just come in, shake your hand, and then rush you out. Dr. Patel is a special breed of doctor who looks to identify the root cause of the issue and not just treat the symptoms. I’d give him 100 out of 5 stars if I could.

I have been seeing doctor Patel for a few months. He is very empathetic with me as a 69 year old with several medical problems. The previous doctor I was seeing was from Nigeria and she spoke very broken English and was very hard for me to understand. Doctor Patel speaks perfect english which is very important to me so I can completely understand him when he talks about my medical problems. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a new family doctor.

Dr. Patel is always friendly and courteous. He never makes me feel as if he is rushing me in anyway. I am very confident in his care and would recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor who takes their time, remembers their name and puts a lot of thought into their care.

As a 66 year old with a lot of medical conditions, I'm pleased to have found Dr Paten in Toledo, OH after moving from Indianapolis, IN. Personable, thorough, empathy, truly concerned about my medical problems. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr.Patel is a very caring doctor whom takes his time to address all your medical issues. He's very knowledgeable and knows new medicine to help you in all your needs. If you're looking for a new doctor I highly recommend him! Happy patient, Holly
