Dr. Sohrab Virk, MD

If you’re not a surgical candidate, Dr. Virk won’t spend more than two minutes in the room with you. Instead he’ll schedule as many appointments with you as he can and bill your insurance 800 dollars for each visit, even for test results, the office won’t release them to you until you come in so they can bill your insurance for another 800. Very greedy, apathetic and provides no direction for follow up care for non-surgical candidates. Would not recommend to anyone who is looking for a doctor who is interested in the wellbeing of other people more than shamelessly lining up his own pockets at the expense of his patients.

If you’re not a surgical candidate, he won’t spend more than two minutes with you and then bill your insurance $800 for the visit, then will make you see him again if referral is denied for another charge — and then will schedule a follow-up to see him in person or else office his office won’t share results for tests and MRIs and then charge ANOTHER $800 to have him in the room for 30 seconds. Doesn’t care about patients at all and won’t give any helpful direction or options for care. Didn’t even do an exam.

If I could give him 10 stars I would. Speaking from someone who’s had 3 previous spine surgeries, he’s an outstanding surgeon, empathetic and easily accessible after surgery for any issues that might arise. I highly recommend him.

6/27/23: Dr. Virk was highly recommended by my pulmonologist. Dr. Virk is unique in how he is caring, gentle and compassionate. He listens attentively and lets you understand the steps to getting you to feel better. Go for a consultation and you’ll see for yourself. ~NA

I met Dr. Virk during my Mom's unexpected ortho surgery this past November and upon speaking with him learned how knowledgeable and skilled he is in his field; immediately I thought to select him for Mom's surgery, which has been successful thus far. Dr. Virk was attentive, available at all times, and quite responsive to his patient's needs. I highly recommending him.

It's hard to find doctors that make you feel like they care nowadays. Dr.Virk and Sharon(his PA) are very kind and caring people that go above and beyond the normal standard of health care. They make you feel comfortable right from the start and help you to understand everything that's going on, I highly recommend this doctor.

I feel so fortunate to have found such a compassionate surgeon. On my first visit he gave me his cell phone number should I have any questions or concerns. During the visit he patiently explained my conditions and presented options. He was not rushing me into surgery…encouraged trying less invasive procedures first. After surgery, he was attentive to all of my needs. I found his office staff to be pleasant and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a caring, highly skilled spine surgeon.

On June 24, I fell off a horse and injured my spine. I recommend Dr. Virk. He’s a great doctor.
