Dr. Solange Burnette, MD

Dr Burnette is fairly new to Baptist Primary Care. Our family has been with Baptist Primary since we moved to Jax Bch. We had a good experience until she became the attending physician of the office. We had been on maintenance for 3 plus years before even coming to the area. Since she has become the attending physician, we have had issues getting refills especially controlled substances even though ADD symptoms have been managed successfully for 10 plus years. I cannot refer their office as long as they don’t treat the “whole” patient but want to write referrals for everything other than an annual or a cold

I have been a patient for over 20 years. Because I had a good doctor, I was happy to refer the office to family/friends. However, I am trying to find a new physician due to recent staff changes. Dr. Burnett appears to care more about policies and generating revenue than my healthcare needs. During a routine office visit, Dr. Burnett ordered unnecessary tests to fill a prescription. Furthermore, my insurance doesn't cover the cost of testing, and I am forced to pay out of pocket. The office is too busy to get an appointment promptly. Sometimes, I wait three weeks to see the doctor. Dr. Burnett doesn't make her patient's healthcare priority. She doesn't take the time to listen, investigate complaints, and/or follow up with test results. Most importantly, she never responds to messages or fills prescriptions on time.

I saw Dr. Burnette today and had a great experience. She was calm and kind and really made me feel comfortable. I don’t go to doctors offices often but in my experience she was very thoughtful, asked good questions, and checked everything I was concerned about. She was also incredibly prompt and I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes. She clearly respects people’s time which was great, so I could get back to work

Long wait in office signing in if phones are busy. Also long wait to see Dr. Burnette. Long wait to see this doctor if not on Humanna.
