Dr. Sophie Shirin, MD

I have a chronic condition, and Dr. Shirin figured out how to treat it. Dr. Shirin is experienced, super smart, and sure, like most doctors, she doesn’t have a lot of time to chat. But if you come ready with questions you’ll find Dr. Shirin to be knowledgeable, professional, and caring. The office also speaks Russian, and all the staff are lovely, whatever language they’re conversing in.

Everything is very rushed as though the doctor and staff are trying to beat some sort of time record. Very quick explanations and care delivered as though you are part of the quota not a feeling patient. Was going to charge me a separate (follow up/visit) charge for her to check on HER work. $300.00 plus dollars for nothing. NO WAY. See someone else.

dr was shockingly brusque. she did not even explain my condition or how to use the prescribed medication. even more distressing was that she froze something on my face - she totally missed the lesion i pointed out to her! the nurse clearly marked on my intake that i was also there for cyst removal; the dr didn’t even look at the intake notes. didn’t review my extensive med history. i remembered i’d seen her long ago & was so unhappy w her i never returned. so this will be twice i won’t go back??
