Negative Stars (If I Could!)
Dr. Raikar is hands down the worst surgeon I have ever experienced in my life. He cannot keep staff for more than a month, and the staff that he manages to hold onto are incompetent at best. I had an internal pain pump put into my body by a different surgeon. After around three years, the pump started to work its way outside my flesh and into the open air. The practitioner I saw under the care of Raikar told me it’s fine & nothing to worry about - until she saw it outside of my body. When I was rushed to surgery, Raikar asked what took me so long to come in… I explained his practitioner kept saying it’s nothing to worry about. I got a bad spinal infection from that, and Raikar didn’t seal my spinal cord properly so I was leaking spinal fluid for almost a month (with horrible spinal headaches) when he finally agreed to fix the mess he created. They didn’t care about the pain I was in & the staff told me to quit calling so often. He lacks bedside manner, isn’t respectful & is a liability

Highly Recommend for chronic pain patients.
I highly recommend scheduling an appointment to the Fremont clinic. Dr Raikar and Dr Jenni are very compassionate in the pain management field. If you want to be cared for the CORRECT way, then get your referral and schedule an appointment as soon as you can. You will thank me later when you are not in severe pain anymore. The staff and nurses at the Fremont clinic, I can't thank you guys enough. You guys keep the clinic running the way it needs to run and you guys aren't thanked enough. But huge praise to everyone at the Fremont clinic. I am sure the Omaha clinic is operated the same way. So, thank you to all who operate the Omaha clinic as well. Thank you, Dr Jenni and Dr Raikar for your care and your willingness to reduce the severe pain that I have suffered with for a long time. I am finally able to live a normal life, and actually be there with my family.

The team of Doctors and nurses are very compassionate and understanding. They take time to listen to your needs and situation. They devise a complex plan to give you a better quality of life that increases your sense of dignity and well being. I highly recommend Dr. S.V. Raiker and his team with highest regards. He has totally changed my life for the better.

Dr. Raikar has little respect for his patients. Patients often sit for hours for an appointment because he has not arrived in the office yet. He is a good doctor but making his patients wait for so long shows lack of respect for their time.

I take my 90 year mother there several times a year for procedures and appointments to relieve back pain. We have to wait well over an hour, sometimes up to two hours every time. Dr. Raikar has no respect for a patient's time. The procedures he performs help the pain, but we are strongly considering finding another doctor even if we do have to travel into Omaha. It would take less time to drive to and from Omaha than it does to sit in his waiting room.

I know we all have a right to see someone else....but it's difficult. You spend 3 hrs minimum....waiting to be seen and when u and re taken back to the room...he's either not there yet or he sees ya for 3 sec. He's constantly poking fun and ret my weight, when he gives me injections. Not a good exp.

Don't schedule an appointment unless you have more than 2 hours to wait. Not a bad doctor but since his PA quit he hasn't changed his scheduling to reflect it. He spends a decent amount of time with you in the room. The appointment is useless because you have to wait way too long.

Average waiting time is 2 hours at every visit. Spends less than a minute with you. No matter the pain level he does not change anything.

Always running an hour or more behind. Waiting room is tiny and over flowing into lobby with patients. He asks you a question and then another before you can finish answering the previous and he doesn't make any eye contact with you. He doesn't tell you what he is about to do when examining or giving an epidural and your visit is rushed.

As with most pain management doctors, I signed a contract that I would'nt receive pain medication from any other doctor. However, they make an exception for post surgery medication from surgeons. The problem is that they haven't made that policy know to everyone who answers their phone. I had to suffer unnecessarily after a major surgery because who ever answered the phone when my surgeon's nurse called, told her that I was under a contract and could not receive pain RX from my surgeon.

he's office has went way down in the quality off care, honesty.I went there for 3 years and was lied too. The appoinments get shorter because he over books. He can't run 2 offices.I tried get pain patches for 18 months. I never did get it. They did a pre-authorization which was turned down for lack off imformation. I recived my own letter.I was told it was done a second time and it was turned down. Funny i didn' get a letter on that.I still have a script in my car. never will happen.
