Dr. Spencer Barney, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Barney’s for the past ten years, he has delivered 4 of my babies, he has performed one laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis on me, and I couldn’t be happier with my care from him and his awesome nurses, especially Carol. I always feel at home, cared for, my voice is heard, and he explains all options clearly and is very proactive in regards to my total health. I recently took my oldest two daughters for their first OB consultations and he made them feel at ease and they both had very positive experiences.

I’ve heard great things about this place. The receptionist, nurses, and Dr. Barney are all very friendly, professional, kind, and respectful. Dr. Barney is always checking in and making sure all of your needs and concerns are taken care of. I’d recommend this place to any of my families and friends.

Dr. Barney was alway so supportive. He worked with me and maternal fetal medicine to ensure I had a healthy pregnancy. Then when the unimaginable happened and we lost one of our twins he was there to answer questions and supported my choice to deliver my baby girl early.

Dr. Barney listens to you, seems to have a lot more knowledge about the things that were happening with me, than any of my previous Drs. He also offers many more solutions and explains why things are the way they are. I've been to 7 OBGYN's he just made me feel heard and comfortable, he's the first one to not imply I didn't know what I was talking about. Great Dr.

Dr. Barney isn't my normal doctor at that office but he got me in. I had a great experience and would go to him again any time

Dr. Barney has delivered all four of my babies. He is an excellent doctor. He always takes the time to listen to and answer any questions or concerns I have. He is attentive to my needs during delivery while ensuring the best outcomes for my baby and I. Highly recommend Dr. Barney and his staff!

Dr. Barney did a wonderful job delivering my second baby. I wanted a natural birth with as few interruptions as possible and Dr. Barney respected that. He stepped in when it was time to start pushing. My baby got stuck while coming through the birth canal and Dr. Barney was able to very quickly correct it. He has a lot of experience and is very professional. I had an excellent experience with him and I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dr. Barney is very thorough at taking care of all of my health needs. I appreciate the time he takes to explain and educate to help me decide options that will be best for me and my health. His staff is so warm and friendly as well, which makes such a big difference for me. I also love that they have a blood draw lab right in their office. This is such a convenient and wonderful option for busy moms.

This is my third pregnancy with Dr. Barney as my OB. Makes you feel very comfortable and is very attentive to any questions. His staff is also very good at responding to any emails or calls quickly.

I recently switched to Dr. Barney as my lifetime OB left the practice. He made the transition very easy and SO comfortable. He is extremely nice, professional, and answered all my questions/concerns ans genuinely cared about my well-being. His nurse is also really nice! I moved to Provo and was going to have him refer me to someone down here, but now im not going to. Hes well worth the drive! 10/10 recommend! ??

Perfectly good new client appointment. Dr takes time to sit with you in the office and chat 1st, so you aren't doing all the conversing while in the exam room. Actually listens to your needs and gives you opportunity to bring up questions or suggestions before moving on to the next step. Took immediate action towards my concerns which was a huge relief. I look forward to returning to this clinic & hopefully remedying my long time issues!

Dr Barney is the best doctor I know for women and babies. He makes you feel comfortable and your safe. He's amazing. He listens to your concerns and talks them over with you. You never feel rushed with him.

Dr Barney is very thorough in his explanation and doesn’t leave a question unanswered. He goes over all of the pros and cons. Letting the decisions ultimately be yours. 10/10 recommend.

This was my first visit to Dr. Barney. Since it was my first appointment with him, he listened to me in his office about my history and what I wanted to accomplish and we made a plan. He was insightful and shared things I didn’t realize and was very helpful. The exams were efficient and professional. I have a lot of anxiety with doctors (especially new ones) and I look forward to working with Dr. Barney.
