Pre Surgical consult
Dr. Hawkins explained surgery and answered all of my questions and concerns. His assistant, Jen was just as informed and very pleasant. Francine, their front desk mgr. was great!!

Dr Rachel

MOHS surgery excellence
Dr. Hawkins performed MOHS surgery at Advanced Dermatology in Portage, MI to remove a facial squamous cell carcinoma. The level of care I received from Dr. Hawkins throughout the procedure was a 'ten,' (0-10, 10 being the highest). He was confident, focused, and precise. His professional demeanor was pleasant and relatable.

Caring, Thorough, Professional
Dr Hawkins listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I felt that he heard me and treated me with respect and is honestly empathetic toward his patients. He asked me what I wanted to achieve with our appointment. He diagnosed my issue as neurological and when I told him that I had an appointment with a neurologist, Dr Hawkins suggested I call to see if I could be seen sooner. also offering to forward his findings and test results. I respect and trust his diagnosis.

Dr. Hawkins is personable, thorough and caring. He has recommended new treatments, which have been an improvement in every case. I have had no problem scheduling appointments, and my husband has also switched to Dr. Hawkins. Highly recommend.

Recent visitor for annual "inspection".
I arrived a few minutes early as suggested. Receptionist was pleasant and welcoming. I was called in right on time and the doctor joinred me in just minutes. He was thorough. The visit was over quickly with no major concerns. Scheduled again for next year. Thank you Dr. Hawkins. I certainly recommend this practice and Dr. Hawkins in particular.

Excellent experience
The staff at the office are well informed, easy to understand. The Doctor explained what he was doing and ended up removing 2 different spots. I am going back to have him check 1 of the spots.

Thorough & professional
I found Dr Hawkins to be very thorough and professional. He was very detail oriented with his explanations. I didn’t feel rushed at all. I also liked that he had another staff member in the room. His staff was friendly and efficient. His office is modern and attractive. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.
