I waited almost two months for a follow-up appointment, which was for the express purpose of receiving an injection. I was whisked into the exam room by the all-too-familiar "newbie" and he left by saying the doctor would be in shortly. After waiting 45 minutes, I got up and left. I'm forwarding a bill to his office for my time!

Great doctor and great staff
Everyone at this practice is so kind and respectful. Dr. Skinner answered all my questions, without hesitation. The staff is great! I was impressed! I recommend this group of doctors, along with their staff, including those that make the appointments, to the PA's, to the office personnel and to all the people upstairs, who I met during the procedure. FIVE STARS, all around, for everyone of you!

He explained my injury in terms I could understand & gave me options for treatment. I loved that he was not arrogant as many surgeons are!

The office Staff sucks
Skinner's office staff does not address the issues you call about. I have been trying to get a prescription called in for a muscle relaxer (Robaxin) for over 24 hours and the only answer is it hasn't been addressed yet. I am well aware of it and in pain with muscle spasms. they told me last night the Dr on call would call me. I have up at midnight and went to bed he didn't call either. I called early this morning and was told they would get it called into Publix pharmacy. Nope it is not there and it is now 2 PM in the afternoon. The office manager doesn't answer her phone either. Leave a message no call back. Dr Skinner did a great job of surgery on my hip but his entire office staff needs to be fired and start fresh.

Dr skinner is not communicative, and I felt like he was always in a hurry. I had to get information from my physical therapist that I now have complex regional pain syndrome. Dr skinner did not speak to me about this. Dr skinner referred me to Dr Hood in the same practice. He was rude abrupt. He offered Injections that could take 4 weeks to 2 months before I would see results. the diagnose is pain. I was offered nothing to address that. the whole experience was one I would not recommend. The office staff is a nightmare to deal with.

I had a great experience with him. He was knowledgeable and concerned about me and my problem. He made me feel like he really cared about taking care of me. He did talk a little fast but he just seemed excited about his job which I appreciated. He answered all my questions and explained them well. I was very happy with my care.

He seemed to be too busy to thoroughly address my injuries and left extremely skeletal notes for my follow appointment. Therefore I had to really push the nurse to get scheduled for an appointment and told her I would need surgery as well, but since he didn't mention surgery in his notes, I had to waste 9 days before finally being seen. He overlooked a fracture in my wrist that wasn't found until six weeks later. He did not inform me or show me any images of the kind of fractures I did have.
