Great Doctor
I've been seeing Dr. Atluru for about six years. I like her very much. She's very attentive, open and involved. She listens and is excellent on followup. I can always trust that she will do her best to help with any issues or questions I have.

I've had Dr Atluru as my primary physician for the past 5 years. She is pleasant, very knowledgeable, thorough and patient. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Dismissive
Very dismissive. Took years of complaining of the same ailments to get any action at all on it and years later still have no answers. Very rudimentary understanding of mental health and obesity as a disease and genetics vs lifestyle. Felt very uncomfortable and uneasy. Would not recommend.

It’s been over a year since I saw her. My experience with her was the worst, and I honestly think it was emotionally traumatic because I have occasional nightmares about her— (why I’m reviewing her today. I had one last night and woke up feeling defeated.) I’m over 55 and have rarely had anyone, much less a doctor, be so snide. I hope I never have another nightmare about her. I have a bit hope for her because she’s young and if she tries she can improve.

She is my physician. She’s great. Really listens & tries different options to solve your problem. She also follows up with emails & phone calls. She now works in WI

She didn’t even pretend to listen to me. She was rude and abrupt and made me feel like a drug addict because I had some pain medication I’d gotten at the ER. I handed her the bottle and when I reached for it back she yanked it out of my reach. She was snide and sarcastic. I left the appointment no closer to a diagnosis for my pain, and feeling emotionally and physically drained by the time with her. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. I even had a nightmare about her.

Going into my first meeting with Dr. Atluru with only a single bad review, I was trepidatious to say the least but my dr options are limited so I took my chances and am very glad I did! Dr. Atluru was easy to talk to, listened intently, and went out of her way to ensure my autoimmune disease would be addressed with the most recent care protocols possible! She warmly describes herself as a flighty nerd and yet made sure she was thorough and I had everything I needed. I'm so glad I went!!

I have never had a worse experience with a doctor in my life. I'm stoic and never cry, but I was in tears after my stressful appointment with her. I felt belittled and insignificant. I was in godawful, grimacing pain after I saw her (the pain was why I saw her, not because of her) but I was afraid if I called the clinic I might have to see her again so I just suffered through it... it was that upsetting.
