Dr. Sreevani Thota, MD

Was referred to her by my regular doctor's practice due I had a swollen left side of my face. She was absolutely fabulous, through and listened well, asking great questions.

I had an allergic reaction to a medication she prescribed, I called her twice and she did not call back. She called me 26 hours later and said she had a busy day and did not know what happened to the messages to call me. Awful excuse. I do not recommend her at all. If I could give her a zero I would

I was in her care when I had a mild-stroke and she took care of me very well.

I was a patient of Dr Thota for several years. She has a subspecialty in cardiology. Highly intelligent, compassionate and skilled. She improved my health!

I highly urge you to stay away from Sreevani Thota. I was a new patient when I went to see her, she put me through hell. Her staff is caustic and ignorant: they couldn't asnwer basic questions like, "Should I fast?", or "Do you do bloodwork?". They were also rude and greedy: they signed me up for a follow-up without consulting me and then refused to cancel that appt. They also refused to release my reports back to me unless I made an extra appt (which would cost me me extra), and then released my reports to my mother, despite my lack of say-so (gross HIPAA violation). Sreevani is uneducated. She couldn't diagnose anything and saw me for a total of 12 minutes in a 3 hour ordeal. She was just as greedy and kept doling out referrals to her in-house specialists, and wouldn't listen to anything I was saying. She even shamed me when I asked for STD testing. After I posted a bad review on Google, they charged me an extra copay (despite the fact that my insurance covers everything).

Dr.. Thota is great! I highly recommend her. She is so nice and easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Having 3 convenient offices in Jersey City makes scheduling appointments very easy. The wait times vary. It depends on what office you visit along with what day and time you plan your visit. But more often then not the wait isn't too long.

unbelievable.....i had an emergency and contacted her office..mind you i am only 2 minutes away and the time it took for her receptionist to go back and forth with her... i would have been able to be seen..the receptionist said she was done for the day and it was 2pm...she kept going back and forth and finally the 3 rd time she came back and said the doctor was gone for the day....i wouldnt recommend her for anything....so much for the HIPPOCRATIC OATH....she is just a hypocrite

I made an appointment at 634 Newark ave. at 6.. I went there but Dr. Thota wasnt there.. Nobody called me.. I left early at work just to get there..I wasted my time..
