Best doctor in town
Dr Swarup saw me for my lymphoma. And it’s been a year since I had a bone marrow transplant and I am doing well. He is very caring.

He saved my wife
I am a retired nurse. He is highly skilled and very compassionate with some of the best bed side manners I have seen in a doctor. And more importantly, he saved my wife after she got lymphoma.

Very good doctor
It took us 3 months to get a scan with a previous doctor. My husband was getting sicker by the minute. He got us the biopsy he needed by the next day of meeting. Made several phone calls to us and to another doctor to make it happen. I don’t have words as to how grateful we are.

My brother hates doctors
I accompanied my brother to see Dr Swarup. This is his third cancer doctor and he left the last two on bad terms. The doctors couldn’t navigate his ptsd and cancer together and my brother admittedly is short with many doctors - doesn’t trust them easily. So, imagine my surprise when he sits quietly and listens to this man almost half his size and not only agrees to everything Dr Swarup has to say but also is eager to follow up. I could see how charismatic Dr Swarup is - he could be heading a cult had he not been a doctor.

Not many like him here
I had stopped using doctors in Sierra vista altogether. Didn’t find a point - bad care, outdated and generally poor taste. Dr Swarup is a breath of fresh air here and is the only local doctor I trust.

On a Friday evening
I am a retired dentist with almost 40 years in healthcare and have known many doctors during my life. I have not ever met a doctor that would sit at 6 pm on a Friday evening when everyone in the office is gone - who sits and not just talks to his patient but reaches out to another doctor to further clarify details and come up with a plan. Dr Swarup did not move from his seat until every little detail was clear and we had a plan in place. It is amazing that this sort of care is available in this little town (we were visiting from Connecticut). And it shows in his waiting room - it’s packed.

Went back to him after a year
I had seen him a year ago and fell out of appointments. Life happens.. however, I had a great experience with him and his name recently came up - a friend is seeing him too. I went back to see him because I wanted him on my side for my blood clots.

I HAD cancer.
He saw me on the worst day of my life. I nearly walked out because I couldn’t believe the stuff he was saying. That I had cancer and needed this big surgery. However, I thought over it and came back and went with his recommendations. 2 years later I remain cancer free. I am so grateful for life and for Dr Swarup.

The doctor you want in Cochise county
He speaks with every specialist you have that affects your treatment. All along I felt the left hand doesn’t talk to the right in hospitals. He is a breath of fresh air. Every specialist I have heard from him about me and had many praises for him. Finally a team I can trust.

They told me I have lung cancer and will need chemo. I was very scared. Dr. Swarup worked me up and told me that I can just do a pill. My scan shows the cancer is gone. I am very thankful to get his advice.

Very caring doctor
I have kidney cancer. It used to be about 11 inches in size. Dr. Swarup started me on treatment and sent me for radiation. I have no symptoms at all and I have lived with it for over 2 years now. I will always be grateful for him and his team.

Everyone kept saying nothing is wrong…
I kept feeling sick and everyone said nothing was wrong. I was referred to Dr Swarup after a friend recommended it. I was seen within a week and immediately underwent a biopsy that showed blood cancer. He listened when other doctors brushed it off. I owe him my life.

Didn’t have a referral but was taken care of
Telehealth
I was told that they think I have lung cancer. I was referred to Dr Swarup. Something went wrong with the paperwork and turns out Dr Swarup’s office had not even recurved the referral a week after. I called his office and was immediately taken care of. They figured out the referral and overbooked me into his schedule within 2 days. If you are in Cochise county and have been told you have cancer, he is the person to call. I am so glad I did.
