Dr. Prasad recently performed a fusion on my back and he did a remarkable job. Thanks to his surgery I am no longer in pain. He has a wonderful bedside manner and an exceptional Doctor.Highly recommended!

Dr Prasad is easy to talk to. Listens to what you have to say and is a very good surgeon. I would definitely recommend him if your having back problems or need surgery on your back.

Dr. Prasad was recommended for consultation on my dealing with stenosis. When I met with him, he explained the treatment for doing a lumbar laminectomy and described what would be done, how long it would take, and what to expect post-op. Any and all questions were answered in understandable English and detailed exactly what to expect.

Dr. Prasad is a very talented surgeon. He is very caring, as is his staff. I had major back surgery and the pain is gone, my posture is great and the recovery went great. I am forever grateful to Dr. Prasad.

I has a lumbar fusion and laminectomy. I knew it worked as soon as I woke up from surgery. The back ache, hamstring numbness and sciatica were all gone. I was done with the walker in two days, off pain killers in 3 days. Dr. Prasad did great work. The follow-up care was excellent. I have my life back. If you need back surgery this is your doctor. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. He is busy. Expect a wait but it's worth it.

Dr Prasad is a very gifted neurosurgeon. After many preliminary evaluations, with a variety of professionals, regarding my backward falls that resulted in a fractured vertebra and constant excruciating pain I was referred by Dr. Scogna to Dr. Prasad for surgery. Both doctors and staff are fantastic. Dr. Prasad clearly explained my situation and carefully planned a course of action. He is a most kind and compassionate doctor. I learned that there were several issues with my spine that need his help. He addressed the stenosis, scoliosis, fracture, compression, and abnormal spine angle cautiously. The quality of life issues were also addressed and of concern. My plan included PT prior to surgery, surgical performance for all corrections at the same time, follow up checkup and xrays,and followup PT. Dr Prasad is staffers are the best!

I can’t speak highly enough of the excellent care & concern that I received from Dr Prasad and his surgery and office staff. Any concerns or questions I had were always answered quickly and with lots of care for my post surgery issues and concerns.I am happy to say that I am pain free and thrilled I’m able to walk and stand again. I am well on my way to a great recovery and Physical Therapy and getting back to activities before my back pain halted all of that. Thank You for answered prayers.

DR Prasad explained clearly the need for surgery. He took the time to answer all my questions. Before the surgery he came in to calm my fears. After surgery he visited every day. His team is amazing. They are professional and caring.My pain is gone.

Dr Prasad analyzed my condition and designed a minimally invasive surgical approach that completely eliminated my horrific radiating pain. His communication skills are outstanding as he prepared me for everything I encountered before, during and after the surgery. He and his staff’s level of care and support is incredible. Dr. Prasad spent time with me explaining everything about my condition and the surgery that he would perform. He was patient and allowed me and my husband to ask as many questions as needed to make sure we were comfortable moving forward. I had complete faith in him and his team going into my surgery. After the surgery, he spent time with me and my husband explaining in detail all that was done. My recovery has been amazing as I am able to walk again without pain and numbness. Dr. Prasad is the most caring, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and talented physician. I’m 3 months out from major back surgery. I have rods, screws and spacers from L2-L-5. I am able to stand and walk because of Dr. Prasad! I also can’t say enough about his office staff. They are truly wonderful!! Every time I’ve had a question or concern I’ve received a phone call back within a reasonable amount of time. I saw Dr Prasad for low back pain after he was recommended by a friend in the healthcare field. I had 3 appts with him in 7 months. Each time he ordered more diagnostic tests. After 7 months of seeing him, he passed me off to his partner Dr Heller. After waiting 5 weeks for an appt with Dr Heller, he to wanted more tests and a follow up appt tin 5 weeks. I had difficulty scheduling the tests, one of which, the testing facility had never heard of. I left a message for someone from Dr Heller's office to call me back to clarify the test requested and have not yet received a call back. I feel that neither Dr Prasad or Heller had a genuine interest in helping me. I wish they would have just told me that 7 months ago.

I came to Dr Prasad with an extremely complex spinal disorder. Dr Prasad performed a lumbar fusion and high grade spondylolisthesis repair that took over 11 hours over two days. I could not have hoped for a more competent caring surgeon. It’s been 6 months now and I have no pain and I can walk over two miles. I am grateful to Dr Prasad and the Jefferson team every day.

When I met Dr. Prasad, I was in severe lower back pain and mostly bedridden for a long time. My Pain Mgmt Dr. could no longer help me, and referred me to Dr. Prasad. He and his professional and caring team of nurses supported me all through the procedure, and continue to follow my progress. The lumbar fusion was Sept 2021. I have exceeded my recovery goals, and can now walk, exercise, play with my grandchildren, dance, and enjoy life...no longer needing pain meds, a wheelchair, walker or cane! I later needed a cervical fusion this year, June 2022. I felt blessed that Dr. Prasad performed this surgery as well. Surpassed all goals as well. I will always be grateful to Dr. Prasad! He is an exceptional surgeon! He cares!

Dr Prasad immediately made me feel at ease and fully discussed my procedure and risks. Most importantly, he LISTENED. Dr Prasad’s nurses and admins were also wonderful to work with and very responsive to all of my silly questions. Overall, if you have to face surgery, it was a positive experience all around.
