Dr. Stacea Bowen, MD

I am glad that I found her. My previous OBGYN did not listen to my concerns even though I had tried to explain numerously what was happening in my body. Dr. Stacea takes time to assess me and follow up based on my distress development. I recommend her to any women specializing in BLACK WOMEN. She is knowledgeable and approachable

I recently had a series of disappointing visits at Dr. Bowen office that left me feeling frustrated and let down. The lack of communication and organization within the office resulted in several inconveniences and unnecessary complications during my medical treatment.First of all, prior to a scheduled procedure, the doctor's office failed to send a medication referral to the necessary facility. As a result, I was left without the required medication, causing unnecessary stress and discomfort during the procedure. Then, I had an appointment with the doctor to review my test results. However, upon arriving at the appointment, I was informed that the doctor did not have the results available. This is unprofessional and wasted both my time and the doctor's time. Lastly, I discovered that my insurance records were not up to date at the doctor's office causing delays in processing my claims.

Dr Bowen is a compassionate professional. She cares about her patients. I feel very comfortable during my visits.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bowen for a few years. I was pregnant recently with my first child. I asked her 2+ months prior to my delivery if I could go out of town for a baby shower that was 3-4 weeks prior to my due date and she said I could. While I was out of town (only about 2 hours away), my water broke and had to have an emergency c-section. I set up my post pardum appt with her like I was told to do by the hospital. I go in for my appt and was refused service. This type of behavior has been a pattern with her throughout my pregnancy. She snapped at me at my first visit when I asked a question. She has been rude, short tempered, and not flexible with scheduling even though her office hours are until 5pm, she never wanted to schedule anyone after 2pm. She even told me to miss work because her personal schedule was more important than anyone else’s schedule. While her staff is great, she is the worst. Go see anyone else if you can!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bowen since 2019 and have only had good experiences with her treatment and care. She answers any questions I have in a professional and caring manner. I cannot vouch for her care before, during, and after giving birth as I already had my son when I became a patient of hers, but I would recommend her to anyone seeking an OBGYN.

Dr Bowen has always been great. I’ve been going to her for several years and She found I had cancer. All is we now! She is knowledgeable and the kind of Dr that actually listens! My only concern, which I relayed to her, some patients in the waiting room allowed to sit there without masks.

I was referred to Dr.Bowen back in 2016 by my sister who referred 2 of my other sisters . I came from an OB who didn’t listen to my concerns about not having periods and having miscarriages . Dr.Bowen took me in her arms , ran test and examined me and took my concern very seriously . She has been nothing but amazing from the beginning . Fast forward to 2019 , when I became pregnant Dr.Bowen made me feel at ease. My whole pregnancy was smooth and she always answered my questions and was completely honest . I love that she doesn’t sugarcoat things and she tells you the truth . Even though I had minor complications during labor (not her fault ) , she took care of me , made sure the baby and I was safe , keep me updated with everything that was happening and always gave me all my options . I highly recommend her and I can’t wait to go through more pregnancies with her .

Dr.Bowen is a great doctor! She always takes her time with her patients and she is very down to earth and very professional! She always puts her patients first! Her office staff are always very professional and very nice!

Dr.Bowen is an amazing professional confident OBGYN! From the very beginning she was encouraging and supportive about my VBAC. She was always very informative and helpful with my situation. Never felt rush during any visit , willing to listen to my concerns and answered all of my questions. She took any doubts out of me and made me feel confident about my VBAC .

Being a 30yr old that was brought up in a situation where health was not an important thing and was left to this age to fend for myself, I walked into this office terrified of being belittled a d judged. None of that fear was needed. The women that work the desk are so warm and welcoming I was immediately put at ease. And when I met Dr. Bowen I couldn't have been any happier. She was such a comforting person with such a gentle touch. I have thankfully found my life long doctor and I woukd HIGHLY recommend her and her team to anyone of any age.

When I saw her, I was not in good shape and I was really having a bad reaction to a pill another doctor put me on. She helped me out GREATLY! Her staff was helpful as well, I highly recommend Dr. Bowen.
