Dr. Stacey Gallacher, MD

I recently had a negative experience while accompanying my parents to their appt. with Dr. Gallacher. Aside from the fact that she did not look at or reexamine their injured areas, she did not take the time to explain anything to them. When my dad tried to ask a question about his lab results, she was clearly irritated that he had looked at his report. Anything that he would ask, she just kept repeating herself, in a condescending way, as well as pointing out his age. When he asked whether or not she felt he needed surgery, she got defensive, asking him if he was questioning her. He politely said no, that he just wanted to understand his injury, but she was clearly annoyed. I have never been at a doctor appt. where the patient was not allowed to ask questions, and it was very upsetting for me to see my parents treated in this uncaring way. I have been very happy with other doctors in this practice, but neither will be returning to see Dr. Gallacher.

I was very pleased with the care I received at from Dr. Gallagher. She was very knowledgeable and personable. She explained everything to me and showed me the X-rays and fractures. She asked if I had any questions and I was very satisfied with the visit.

I had torn labrum shoulder surgery at age 60. In my final visit I thanked Dr. Gallacher for her artistry and technique. Her entire staff loved her - it was so apparent and they loved their jobs. I felt that clearly. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I told Dr. Gallacher one other reason I chose her was that she will still be practicing when I will be in my 80’s and need that mobility that retirees desire! She laughed and said it would be good to see me for a 20-year follow up. She was easy to talk to and did not dismiss your input. I said I wanted to be her best patient and it all worked out. 3 entry points no scars and while under she discovered and repaired some rotator cuff issues. I got real value and enjoyed being under her team’s care - all great!

Dr Gallagher quickly, accurately and effectively diagnosed the arthritis in my shoulders. She gave me a steroid shot in each shoulder. I'm still in a bit of discomfort after 24 hours but I have experienced some relief already

Front desk receptionist was rude and dismissive. Dr spent very little time with my mother and basically said that very little can be done to help her

Dr. Gallacher is a super professional. She makes the time to answer any questions I had. I felt like she was an encyclopedia of knowledge about my extremities.

She made me feel very comfortable with her Approach. I was put at ease and had everything explained to Me thoroughly. This is the second time dr Gallacher has treated me I was so pleased with her the first time that I specifically requested her this time.

She listens to her patients and remembers them from previous visits. Only recommendation is the friendliness of the desk staff.
