Would recommend Dr Gruber
Very polite and professional took time to explain my condition, and asked if I had any concerns or questions. I was nervous about this first appointment with her because of the negative reviews I read which all were unfounded by this appointment.

I saw Doctor Gruber today for trigeminal neuralgia and hemipelagic migraine and although she admitted that she is a general neurologist and this is not in her field of experience she was extremely sensitive and compassionate about my health issues. She went ahead and ordered an MRI with and without contrast and also sent in a referral to a headache specialist so I could get the care she feels that I need. But also said that I could continue to see her as well. I felt comfortable talking with her, felt that she was very thorough in explaining her treatment plans and her reasoning for a headache specialist. I highly recommend Doctor Stacy Gruber for your neurology care.

My recent experience with Dr. Gruber this week missed the mark. For being a new patient I truly feel spending 15 mins is not adequate time to spend with a patient. No past medical history was asked, the prior medical history wasn’t reviewed, tests weren’t reviewed ahead of time (which these were provided to them weeks prior), and bedside manner was less than par. There was no empathy for what I have been through, when I would explain the course of my injury I got a smile, head shake and ok. This came a crossed as I’m looking polite but not truly listening. It felt rushed and as if she had somewhere else to be. A doctor is supposed to listen to the patient and help them, all I got was I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ll leave you on the meds your on.... you go hoping for answers only to leave without any insight and feeling like you didn’t matter. I’m a new patient and this isn’t the first impression you should be setting. I am a person, not just a number. I waited weeks to be seen

I was referred to the neurology department by another physician in the practice for a second opinion and unfortunately was scheduled with Dr Gruber when I told them I did not have a preference for a physician. At our initial meeting she was rude and dismissed many of my symptoms. She ordered lab work and did not specify any follow up. When I finally called the office for further info on the results, I asked to see another neurologist due to how I felt about the first meeting but was urged to give her one more try which I did. Well the appointment was today and I drove over an hour for her to ask me why I was there and to tell me that my labs were normal and she thinks I should just stay with my initial neurologist. She then asked me what his diagnosis was, when I told her yet again she said yes that’s probably it and there’s nothing else I can do for you. I am so frustrated and I would definitely not recommend her

My initial impression was that Dr. Gruber was rude. I was referred to her from another Bellin provider. She basically told me she doesn't treat my condition despite being a neurologist. She minimized my condition and didn't offer any resolution despite the fact that my condition is listed as one that she treats. I will not return to see her and will seek care from another provider. She is not compassionate or professional. I'll add that this is my first poor experience with a Bellin Dr.

This doctor has no business practicing medicine! I had a severe toxic reaction to a medication she prescribed for my migraines that almost killed me and she told everyone, including my employer, that I was faking it and it was all in my head. After finally being transferred to another provider, I was taken off the medication and have had a full recovery. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone!

This doctor was condescending and rude. She wanted to know why we brought in a list of symptoms that she ignored. She didn't even do a basic exam on the patient. After ten minutes she said," I suppose your going to want tests ordered"? I will never go to this physician again. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I do not recommend this doctor. I am not satisfied with her care and I don't believe she could answer any of my questions with confidence pertaining to the condition that I have. I will NOT go back. Her nurse Kathy was also very rude. I am very disappointed as I and my family have been going to bellin for care for many years.
