One of my most positive healthcare experiences!
Every staff member I interacted with, including the administrative assistant, the medical assistant, and Dr. Trueworthy were so kind and put me at ease. I have bad “white coat syndrome,” especially with OBGYN visits, and their attitudes pretty much dissolved any anxiety I was feeling. Dr. Trueworthy was so kind, professional and succinct. She listened to all my concerns, walked me through all my options, and even brought out a text book to show me pictures and educate me on gynecological anatomy and more. She went above and beyond. I would like to thank them all for making a sometimes scary experience a very pleasant one instead.

Concerned Patient
She entered 45 minutes late, then complained we didn’t have enough time to talk through my health concerns - potentially shifted IUD, significantly elevated white blood cell count, the multiple ultrasounds I’ve already undergone. She was clearly irritated with me because I put “IUD removal” as my reason for coming in and then wanted to discuss my options for IUD removal (my strings are missing). Condescendingly explained to me what a laparoscopy is when I indicated it would be my preferred treatment then told me that they “don’t do that” for uteruses, which is obviously untrue. Told me that IUD removal should be awake on the table and that my solution to the pain should be sedatives in pill form. Told me that she wouldn’t offer me anesthetic in car my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Scheduled a video appointment a month away to discuss what we should have discussed today. Would not refer me to another gynecologist nor an endocrinologist. Nurse asked me to leave when I started crying.
