I saw Dr. Greeter for what turned out to be the beginning of a psychotic depressive episode, after experiencing depression since adolescence. Dr. Greeter accused me of pretending to have depression to get attention from my boyfriend and dropped me as a client, leaving me with no care during my episode. After a year of psychotic depression and multiple suicide attempts leading to a month spent in the hospital, she still refused to see me. I now have a diagnosis of schizoaffective disorder which could have been avoided with prompt treatment.

Dr. Greeter is so helpful
Dr. Greeter and her staff are wonderful. She listens to my individual situation and allows me to be a part of the treatment process. If I have questions in between sessions she makes sure I get answers in a timely matter. She understands me wanting to be on the least amount of medication possible. Bonus points for her having an adorable therapy dog!

During the past six years I have referred several patients to Dr. Greeter. Each patient has expressed to me their great satisfaction with her and her staff. Dr. Greeter is a compassionate, gifted physician, someone skilled in psychopharmacology, knowledgeable in trauma-informed-care, and personally invested in the concerns of her patients. Dr. Greeter has my highest endorsement.

I am an MD who shadowed Dr. Greeter for several weeks to gain exposure to psychiatry. On my first day, I was welcomed into a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of her office. I’ve shadowed and rotated with many, many physicians over the course of my career, and it’s a rarity to encounter a doctor like Dr. Greeter. She communicates in a way that has the ability to put patients at ease from all age groups, and at the same time her medical knowledge as a psychiatrist is unparalleled. She really cares about her patients and goes the extra mile in all aspects in addition to involving them in their own care. She frequently drew diagrams to help patients better understand the topic of discussion and printed out articles for them to review after the appointment. I’ve recommended Dr. Greeter to multiple family members and friends. As a patient, you would have an exceptionally empathetic, personable, and knowledgeable psychiatrist on your side.

I appreciate that she spends a great deal of time with each patient I have referred and she is very knowledgeable with the medications available. I am grateful to her for being instrumental in helping some of my patients have a better quality of life which is the primary goal if they have to be on medication.

Dr. Greeter is deeply caring and competent. I am a psychotherapist who specializes in treating families who are often in crisis and at their wits’ end. Dr. Greeter is generous with her time and expertise. She is able to relate well to family members of all ages, always treating them with respect.
