Dr. Stafford Henry, MD

I was required to be evaluated by Dr. Henry as part of an FAA requirement for a special issuance medical. Dr. Henry was very welcoming and positive from the beginning. He was very thorough about the process and I understood what was required of me. He provided an extremely thorough, honest, and professional evaluation of me that I am very appreciative of. It has helped me tremendously. I continue to see Dr. Henry every six months and feel very welcomed with his professional and humorous attitude. I enjoy my time with him and the insights he provides me while working through events in my life. I highly recommend without hesitation.

I visited Dr. Henry because I needed his Psychiatric evaluation in order to receive my Aviation special issuance since I used Adderall in my teens for ADHD. From the beginning Dr. Henry was accommodating with the appointment and he was on time for the appt. He was super professional and extremely easy to talk to. I'm the nervous type and even though I was being evaluated I never felt pressured. He was specific with his questions and made the experience very smooth with the respect he showed me and the things we spoke about. The results of the evaluation certainly affect what type of review people might leave him. I was being evaluated for my dependence on Adderall, considering I stopped immediately after High School, never asked for another prescription and had been doing fine in my work/personal life. Get clean, life and paperwork in order and everything will be alright. The evaluation was long at least two or three hours with a break. Two weeks later I had a copy of his report.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Henry on two occasions for psychiatric evaluations. At each evaluation, Dr. Henry explained the process to me in plain language and made sure I fully understood what to expect before we began. He asked me questions in a casual and nonthreatening way, and I felt comfortable speaking with him. I was encouraged by his expertise and his genuine interest in my wellbeing and in understanding my background. The reports he submitted about me were detailed and accurate, and included a number of direct quotes from our conversation. Each report concluded with an opinion section, where the recommendations made by Dr. Henry were articulate, fair and judicious. I would recommend Dr. Henry to anyone seeking a psychiatric evaluation.

I saw Dr Henry. I was going for a HIMS evaluation for a flight medical in order to deal with prescriptions. He charges $3400 for the 2 hour appointment. I will give my own experience which was obviously negative, and you will have to decide for yourself if it’s valid for your goals. I took adderall since I was a child, grew out of it, but continued to take it as an adult like millions of other people born in the 90s. I believe there’s nothing seriously wrong with me that would make me dangerous, but had to go through evaluations to satisfy the FAA. Given the nature of the exam, he’s evaluating me not treating me, I was guarded. I think that’s understandable. I was unsure if my experience of having it as a child and then continuing as an adult despite growing out of it would be a dealbreaker. To call him not charitable on the topic is an understatement. He grilled me for 1.5 hours and took the least understanding approach in dealing with me and later in his report.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Henry for 6 years and ever since the first meeting I’ve had great admiration for him. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed while we talked. He’s very professional but at the same time good humored. He was very detrimental in helping me with my alcohol addiction and would highly recommend anyone seeking help to give Dr Henry a call.

What a blessing to have Dr. Henry in my life. Dr. Henry is a true professional, insightful, caring and generous in his knowledge with me. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Henry is a consummate professional. He is easy to talk to, is a great listener, and has an excellent bedside manner. He is compassionate and pragmatic. He had practical and useful information and tools for me to move forward after meeting with him, which gave me reassurance of a bright future ahead. I am grateful for the time he spent with me. At the end of our meeting, I left feeling optimistic and positive about the path forward.

Terrible. Stay away at all costs. Incompetent and corrupt.

Dr. Henry is fantastic to work with! I find that when meeting with the Doctor its like having a conversation with an old friend. Dr. Henry is truly a professional and I would recommend him to anyone that wants help. He is a true professional!

I Started seeing Dr. Henry in 2015 and have since come to know him as a thoughtful, caring, and extremely professional Physician. His integrity and honest way of conducting his business is second to none in my opinion. Dr. Henry has been thorough and fair in my treatment and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking treatment. Have been seeing Dr. Henry on a professional basis as a patient for approximately 2 years. Highly intelligent, professional, and a great communicator, very objective and fair. He is a "straight-shooter" and is very supportive and very appreciative of patients who work hard and honestly on their programs. Once I got to know Dr. Henry, I found him to be a very warm and caring individual who has true human interest in a patient.
