Patient Review
Dr. Resort’s expansive network is worldwide. His experience, knowledge, and empathy for his patients is unparalleled. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a neurologist. After I relocated to the Chicago area he was able to recommend a neurologist I continue to see 13 years later and when I worked in The Netherlands he was able to recommend a neurologist I saw while working in that country. I was fortunate enough to be treated by him when I worked in the NY metro area. He discovered a genetic relationship for my disease that family members continue to benefit from.

Cannot say enough about Dr. Resor! Right off, his knowledge base is astounding on most matters of health but especially seizures. If you have seizures or have a loved one who does, Dr. Resor is the man (nicknamed "Stan the Man") by some of his patients. Always there for you in the somewhat scary times of seizures.

Dr. Resor is the most thorough, caring, professional physician I have ever known. He is always current in new treatment options and treat general health issues along with the epilepsy. He returns call immediately, even if non-emergency. He includes the family in his medical assessments in order to ensure that family members are not suffering neurological issues. He takes time to get to know the whole person and has an amazing memory - remembers things from 20 years ago! Incredible doctor.
