Dr. Stanton Goldstein, DDS

Close to 10 years ago Dr. Goldstein performed two implants of molars right next to each other, which involved bone grafting. They never felt right from the beginning, always just a bit tender, like it wasn't your natural teeth. Several times the crown came off, where my regular dentist had to replace with new screws. The speculation was that the alignment of the tooth angle wasn't right. After two years, due to bone loss, one of the implants was removed and it wasn't replaced. It was recommended that the other come out also, but that would have left a giant space there and I wanted it to last longer somehow. This was done by and the recommendation by Dr. Goldstein, so it wasn't another dentist who didn't care about another's work. But five years later, it's really tender and the bone loss just got worse as expected. I know it's gotta come out now. Two implants; one lasted two years, the other barely 7 years. I've had two other implants done by another surgeon and they are rock solid!

Dr. Goldstein may know what to do as a dentist but his knowledge and common sense stops there. During a five week ordeal, he didn't see I was getting weaker. When I questioned a symptom his response was, "Hum, I don't know, that's not common" and never said another word. Due to his lack of knowledge or concern, a diagnosis and treatment was delayed of a life threatening condition. I am told it's a "miracle" I'm here today.
