Dr. Schaefer’s home visits were a true blessing! she and her staff have given my husband and me such excellent help through some tough times. I trust her expertise and commend her immediate response to our needs. This is what makes her an outstanding physician!

Dr. Schaffer takes time with all of her patients and takes every concern seriously. She also monitors medication regularly to make sure that you’re getting the proper treatment. Adjustments are made immediately. Dr. Schaeffer makes what could be an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience a step forward for quality of life.

She always takes the time to listen and explain, she digs to get to the root of the issue. I'm VERY sad she is retiring her office location. I don't know what I'm going to do without her! I hope her homebound services takes off. I hope if she decides to reopen that I'll get the chance to be her patient once again.

I’ve been seeing Dr Schaffer 9 yrs since moving to Sebastian. I’ve always found her to be professional, patiently listens to my concerns, never in a rush to get to the next patient, & answers all my concerns and/or questions. The office staff has been professional, courteous & efficient, meeting all my personal needs. I highly recommend!

The doctor called in 2 different medications in with the wrong prescription dosage. Office staff is unorganized. Takes a long time to be able to get in. Unable to do a strep test in house.

Recently moved to Vero Beach and this office was recommended. I've been seen by Nurse Practitioner Michelle Williams and I feel like I'm in better hands than ever! She ordered the right tests and changed my meds to put me on a path to being healthy again. My former Dr. was on cruise control, but now I'm so glad to feel like I'm receiving excellent care from someone who is actively looking out for me! This is how healthcare is supposed to work. Oh, and the staff are friendly and very competent as well. Great people make this a great office - I highly recommend!

Just moved to area and found this office accepting new patients. Able to get in for first visit pretty quickly. Office staff were friendly and helpful and NP Ann Marie was so pleasant and thorough. Extremely satisfied with the whole experience and thankful for such an easy and smooth transition.

My wife and I see Dr. starleen Schaffer regularly and have had no issues, either with her understanding our issues and concerns or with her professionalism and knowledge. We afe satisfied with her experience and with the front office scheduling to meet our needs.

My wife and I had our first appointment last week and we were very happy with Dr. Schaffer and the staff. The appointment was not rushed and the doctor listened carefully. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful to us.

Would not recommend. Dr seems very nice; however, she wouldn't consult with one of my specialists who is treating me for an inflammatory condition. She just prescribed more anti-inflammatories, asking me which mg I would prefer. Told her I didn't think I should take more considering I was already taking another medication. Also, I never received a phone call with my bloodwork test results. When I called asking for a callback with my results (3-weeks after they received them), I was told I had to make an appointment to get the results. I said no, I want someone to read them and tell me if there are any concerning results. Nope...no appointment ($50 co-pay), no results. This is the only doctor who has refused to give results over the phone.

Wonderful experience overall. Great Dr. and excellent staff.

I am a new patient and really like Dr. Schaffer, her NP and the staff. They were on time and very thorough. They were very prepared for my visit and took care of me as an individual , not just a number. I am so glad I chose Dr. Schaffer as my Primary physician.

Anne Marie is a Great Nurse practitioner, very smart and made me feel extremely comfortable. It’s hard to find a provider you truly like and I like her very much!

Great office staff, caring PA .

I have been Dr. Schaffer's patient for about three years. I had an ongoing undiagnosed medical problem for several years when I first began seeing her. She was able to figure out the problems and referred me to an appropriate surgeon for proper care. I am so appreciative of her and in addition, her staff has always done everything necessary to get me in when I was sick. Her staff is always pleasant and professional and seem to go out of their way to assist patients.

The doctors are fine but the staff upfront is terrible. When I call to say I have a serious issue and need to get ASAP they almost seem to find joy In saying no. At other offices the receptionist typically says “let me have you talk to our nurse on staff” or “let me check with a doc and get back to you”. They don’t even say “hey maybe you should go to urgent care” just tell you weeks out appts that are available, no empathy whatsoever. From the two experiences I have has, issues with billing, issues getting tests set up (took 3 weeks to get a test scheduled and one never was scheduled and when I would call and check on it I would be told to just wait longer) and issues getting an appt when I had a serious issue. Done with this office.
