Dr. Parmar takes time with his patients. He reviews procedures and answers questions with clarity and I did have a lot of questions. The post surgery questions were answered to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Dr. Parmar to others

After having my gallbladder taken out, I did not follow doctor's orders to allow my body to fully recover and it resulted in an incisional hernia... and A LOT of pain! I returned to Dr. Parmar to consult on fixing it. He suggested a robotic hernia repair to be done as it would result in faster recovery time. I can't imagine the recovery if I didn't undergo the robotic surgery. While still painful, the surgery went smoothly and was much less invasive due to using the robot. It has been 5 months since my surgery and I have healed and am so grateful for Dr. Parmar! His bedside manner and attention to my concerns and needs are the reason I returned to him for my unfortunate need for a second surgery. If I have to have any other surgeries, he will definitely be my surgeon! Even though I had to travel to Conroe for the surgery, the treatment and recovery was well worth it!

I highly recommend Dr. Stavan Parmar as a surgeon and physician. He does excellent work with critical emergency room surgical needs. He seems thorough in his surgery procedures and does not seem to cut corners but rather does very good surgery. Also he embraces new surgical procedures such as laparoscopic robotic hernia surgery and has mastered these newer techniques. He has good memory of the specifics of each patient and is cognizant of necessary critical memories of Left versus Right sided surgery. He uses the telephone well and is well able to carry out phone call patient contacts for critical information and treatments. Also he uses "smart phone" technology to photograph important medical visual images for later use and also for patient education of the procedures. He has excellent academic ability and seems to keep up very well with new technology and new medical information and as noted above with the newer cutting edge surgical technology and surgical procedures. 5 STAR

Dr. Parmar guided me through a diagnosis of diverticulitis with perforation of the sigmoid colon. I was so grateful that Dr. Parmar did not rush me into an invasive surgery that would have resulted in a two-stage surgery with an interim colostomy bag. Instead he worked with me to get the inflammation down, so he could perform a less invasive Laparoscopic procedure which was very complicated but also very successful and recovery has been great! I have and would recommend Dr. Parmar.

Dr. Parmar is wonderful! It was by sheer accident that he became my surgeon when I needed emergency hernia surgery in 2013. He truly cares about his patients and knows them well. He has answered phone calls on weekends and even had me come in to the clinic between his surgeries at the hospital because of a concern that I had after a recent surgery. He explained everything that he was going to do during a procedure and answered all questions that I had about the robotic laparascopic surgery.

My nephew came into the ER with a really advanced infection on his back, which was diagnosed as MRSA. Dr Parmar ran extensive tests to find out which antibiotics would be effective, and he removed all the bad tissue, about 12" long x 4" high and very deep. The MRSA was also in his bloodstream. It took two months for my nephew to recover, with wound care clinic help as well. My nephew could have easily died, and we feel that Dr. Parmar quite literally saved his life.
