Dr. Stefano Emili, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Emili’s for six years. I have received kidnay care for about a year at Aurora Kidney located at Providence Hospital, in-center and hemodialysis at Laural Street Dialysis and Laural Street Home Dialysis. under his care. I have also received a pancreas and kidney transplant where he was my referring physician to out of state transplant centers. Dr. Emili is kind and advocates for his patients. His care for his patients is fantastic. He makes you feel heard and is patient. I feel grateful to have Dr. Emili as my nephrologist. He is compassionate and is very knowledgeable. He makes referrals if you need additional care from other providers.From the minute you meet him, he makes you feel cared for and respected. Excellent dialysis techs &nurses who are kind and make you feel cared for during your treatment. His PD nurse Amy is trulyexceptional.well the clinic manager, & Stephanie & Susan best at the front desk. Dr. Emil is the best nephrologist in Alaska!

Dr. Emili is not a great doctor he is a fantastic doctor. I’ve been seeing him for about 5 years and never felt rushed or hurried and he has always followed up on my condition and when I had a heart problem (not his field) he called just to check on me. I would recommend him to any one that needs help with their kidneys.

I had a rare kidney infection that only one per cent of kidney transplant patients get called TMA. I credit Dr. Emili along with Dr. Barnes in figuring out the problem and saving my life.

Dr Emili is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate Nephrologists in the state. This combination alone makes him so remarkable. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering with kidney disease. You could not be in better hands.

Dr. Emili is an outstanding physician. He doesn't rush through the visit, he doesn't treat you like a number, and he answers any and all of your questions, no matter how many questions you have. His office is welcoming and always pleasant. I would recommend Dr. Emili to anyone who needs to be followed by a nephrologist.
