Dr. Stephanie Michel, MD

Dr. Michel has been a tremendous support through some challenging times in my life. She consistently takes the time to listen, develop a treatment plan, and explain the reasons behind her decision. Her compassionate approach has made a difference in my health care journey.

The care I received before, during and after surgery was excellent.

I could not get in to my regular OBGYN at the Williamson clinic for an initial OB visit so I had to switch to the Oakwood clinic and was assigned Dr. Harrison. Unfortunately I had a short pregnancy that was fraught with problems and ultimately ended in a miscarriage and D&C. Although Dr. Harrison was my doctor at the time, Dr. Michel did my surgery. She was so much more caring and empathetic than Dr. Harrison, who I never really clicked with. I asked to switch to Dr. Michel and I feel much more comfortable around her. She listens and doesn’t rush appointments. I’m so glad to have made the switch. Pregnancy can be really scary and everyone should be able to communicate comfortably with their doctor during that time and after.

I have had just one appointment with Dr. Michel so far and I loved her! She was punctual and extremely patient with all my questions and gave a frank advice. I am glad to have found her and trust her for my medical needs. Her MA and the nurse are also great and were very kind, helpful and easy to work with. They have the lab, ultrasound everything in the clinic so you don't have to move around a lot to get all tests done.

Dr. Michel has been very caring, patient, and informative to update me anything I need and want to know. She always can make me feel at ease and I totally trust her care. I am grateful to have Dr. Michel as my Dr.

She was great!! I was a high risk patient. I was 43yrs old and i had extreme panic attacks but she kept me calm and was always available wherever i needed her advise. Which was pretty often. I would recommend her to everyone!! The surgery went smoothly and now I have a healthy little boy!!

I love Dr. Michel! I have been with her now for almost 7 years. She always make me feel comfortable and takes her time to really listen to my needs and address them properly. My first encounter with Dr. Michel was during my pregnancy. She was the weekend doctor on call and ended up delivering my daughter via emergency C-Section, and did an amazing job keeping us both safe. Her genuine care and concern for us during the delivery (me not even being an established patient of hers), and in all the anxiety of what was going on that day. she made me fell like I had been her patient from the very beginning and eased my fears. I actually switched from my doctor to her right after my hospital stay. Also the incision from the surgery was beautiful done that you can’t even really tell it happened. I am so happy to be a patient of hers and will stay with her as long as I can. Good doctors are hard to find these days, and I can confidently say, she’s one of the few.

I love Dr. Michel she’s so kind and helpful, everyone in her office is also very patient and friendly. I’m so glad I found her!

Enjoyed my annual Womans physical and I felt that I wasn’t rushed. Today’s appointment went very well considering having to wear masks and that didn’t make a difference or any complications with my visit today.

She was very forthcoming and talked me through the process every step of the way.
