Dr. Stephanie Muh, MD

Had numerous shoulder dislocations and Dr. Muh performed surgery after thoroughly reviewing my prognosis and options. She noted all challenges and set realistic expectations. Surgery day I felt prepared and her post surgery protocols were top notch. Pain managed and removed from heavy meds within a day or 2. Follow up has been great. Never met a doctor who is always on time with a brief wait until Dr. Muh. PT has been exceptional and communicates progress to doctor seamlessly.Dr. Muh did not make promises she couldn’t back up. She clearly stated risks and alternatives. Surgery is never a guarantee and she clearly stated same. I appreciated her honesty.On track to a full return to my normal activities.Would highly recommend.

Dr. Muh did a wonderful job replacing both of my shoulder joints. I started my journey with very little movement and severe pain to now having no pain and almost complete movement. My first shoulder was done in October and my second shoulder was done in February. I would highly recommend Dr. Muh and her staff. My results have been superior compared to other patients I have met during my physical therapy. These patients had their procedures done at different facilities outside the Henry Ford Hospital system.

I visited Dr Muh on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in her office, for a One-Year Follow-up, Dr Muh ordered X-Rays to determine if anything had changed since my surgery in February 2024. The X-rays showed no change. Everything was in place with no issues. Dr Muh had me position my arm in several positions to verify my motion. Positions were done without issue. Dr Muh was satisfied with my ability to move my Arm-Shoulder without pain. I was told that Dr Muh would like to see me in one year, in 2026. Two Years after surgery.

My replacement went beautifully. I only needed pain meds for about two days and I am 100% pleased with the surgery, Dr. Muh and her staff.

I came in initially with a tricompartmental fracture of my humerus bone. The rotary cuff was effected and pretty much my whole body was, too. Dr. Muh was honest with me in what I would be able to do, and what to expect. All the staff was very nice and thorough, associate doctors were very thorough and answered all questions. I was so happy with Dr Muh! I ended up healing better than expected, and she was so proud and happy for me. I really liked her for her plain honesty and how she showed the pre-physical therapy exercises to me. I am so glad I listened to her when she told me what not to do. I would definitely advise people to go to her for your shoulder care.

From my first appointment with Dr. Muh I was impressed. This was my first experience with Henry Ford Health and I am extremely happy with the results and level of care.

Prescription for PT has me listed in a different country not usable and specialty pharmacy says they never received an order fromher office. She was not Avery nice person to deal with. She says she follows the science except when your science trumps her beliefs the shehas nothing. A waste of money because there is no follow through in her practice.

Dr Muh and her staff were very professional. Dr Muh was very patient with me answering all my questions and concerns. Surgery went exceptionally well. 8 months after a shoulder reversal and I am doing fantastic. Back to swimming after 10 years of being unable do to lack of range of motion. So thankful!

Dr Muh is a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon with multiple Specialties. Her concern for the patient is outstanding. Example: I entered the hospital on Thursday; she made every effort to perform surgery on Friday but was unable to get on the schedule. She performed surgery on Saturday in order to get the repair made promptly rather than delaying. I had little to no pain and the surgery was very successful. Previously Dr Muh repaired a shoulder injury. I hope there won' t be a need for her services again; but if I do she will always be my first choice.
