My mother, 84, recently recovering from a fractured hip and broken foot ~ started experiencing high blood pressure as a result of the stress/depression resulting from this accident. Dr. Oltmann listened deeply (which made a difference) and assured my Mom that her blood pressure results were to be watched but not worried about. She is kind, intelligent, capable and caring ~ and not quick to prescribe drugs ~

Dr. Oltmann is smart, knowledgeable and very thorough. She takes time to explain things in terms that I can understand. I appreciate her attention to detail, professionalism and expertise. She also has a wonderful med tech who is caring and kind. I wish they had a better system for answering the phone but that is hardly Dr. Oltmann's fault.

Dr. Oltmann misdiagnosed the skin condition on my face and prescribed a heavy steroid cream. My skin had withdrawal from the cream when I discontinued use. As a result, I have severe perioral dermatitis! I have spent months and a lot of money trying to fix my skin and its not even getting better. The doctor should have known not to use steroid cream on the face!!

Dr. Oltmann misdiagnosed my daughters skin irritation. She prescribed her a high dose of steroid cream. (Which, we found out later by another doctor, should never be used on the face) After a few months, my daughter stopped using the cream. As a result of discontinuing the cream my daughters skin went through 'withdrawal' from the steroid cream, which in turn triggered perioral dermatitis. It has been a nightmare for my daughter as well as costly for treatment w/ a new doctor. NOT Happy.
