Ms Sanders really listened to me. She suggested a couple of treatment options with me before applying medicine to my feet.

Stephanie performed corrective surgery for bunion 8 months ago. In post op recovery she told my spouse and myself that surgery took longer than anticipated because of the bone cut decisions she had to make. Painful suture removal didn't take place until 3 weeks post-op resulting in sutures healing into surrounding tissue. Surgical outcome is overcorrected bunion and non union of bone cut. Stephanie discussed surgical revision and gave me surgery information. Surgery scheduler never called and Stephanie later told me revision surgery wasn't viable option and only offered bone fusion which I opposed. On going complications.

When I visited her for a foot issue I was experiencing, for which I had self-diagnosed myself with Morton's Neuroma thanks to Dr. Google, she very quickly looked at my foot and said yep, then said my only option was to get a Cortisone shot and do that a couple times and if it didn't work then surgery. I opted for the shot thinking it would be the answer. It's not her fault, but that didn't work. So I turned to my network to find other ideas and got a bolus of recommendations for what else can be tried - physical therapy, shoe inserts, etc... none of which Stephanie ever discussed with me; she jumped straight to the injection and surgery options. I have now identified a new Podiatrist to visit and I am hopeful he will give me the time of day to truly discuss my situation and options.
