HAD SURGERY FOR A CYST ON MY FINGER. FIRST OF ALL I CANNOT EVEN FEEL MY FINGER IN OVER A MONTH SINCE SURGERY AND NO ONE WILL RETURN MY CALLS . SECONDLY BEFORE MY SURGERY I WAS TOLD I NEEDED AN MRI SO THEY MADE THE APPOINTMENT, TATIANA THE SCHEDULER, AND SHE TOLD ME IT WAS COMPLETELY COVERED. WHEN I GOT THERE I WAS TOLD I HAD TO PAT 350 DOLLARS. THEN MY CLAIM WAS DENIED AFTER THEY TOLD ME IT WAS APPROVED AND NOW I HAVE A 5,300 BILL. NOW TATIANA WHO SAID SHE WOULD GET IT FIXED AND THEN I SPOKE TO ROSIE THE MANAGER AND THEN KATY THE NEW COORDINATER WHO HAVE ALLL GIVEN ME THE RU AROUND AND DONT ANSWER OR RETURN CALLS. I HAVE CALLED THE OFFICE 15 TIMES OVER THE LAST MONTH. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTORS OFFICE.

Dr. Shim is incredible. I am very grateful to God for meeting her. She managed to take me on as an extra patient despite her very busy schedule. My arm was broken in four places, and I couldn’t move it after car accident. However, after the surgery with Dr. Shim, I fully returned to my normal life within two months. I am now able to put a hundred percent load on my arm.As a fitness trainer, this is extremely important to me. I am now doing handstands, dancing, and jumping, and I have almost forgotten that I ever had such a serious injury to my arm. It has only been two and a half months since the surgery. I believe Dr. Shim is the best thing that could have happened to me this year.

I have been dealing with an ongoing excruciating issue in my shoulder and after being advised that I needed a MRI, I have had to reschedule the MRI several times because the office staff is impossible to get on the phone. They are unresponsive to the Scheduling Department's internal emails, as well as the radiologist's request for the proper paperwork, therefore, I have been unable to even assess if I am walking around with a tear or what. Dr. Shim may be awesome, but her administration staff is an Achilles heel

Absolutely loved Dr. Shim! She explained my diagnosis thoroughly, in details and went over all my options. Answered all my many exhausting questions with lots of patience. She was kind and made me feel at ease.

I went to Dr. Shim for a second opinion on my fractured elbow. The previous Doctor recommended surgery on the elbow. Dr. Shim reviewed my X-rays and told me the bone was healing nicely. She told me I will not need surgery. She is very warm and caring. She made me feel comfortable being with her.

I have been seeing Dr. Shim for over 15 months with issues in both shoulders and my hands. She has She is expert in treatments and is demanding in-depth information and X-rays to assure expert care.

She is very capable and personable.

Dr. Shim is a dedicated professional. From the moment you meet Catherine at the front desk, you can tell you are in good hands. Speaking of which I have issues with both hands and both shoulders. Dr Shim took the time to explain all my options and together we planned therapy for me to get better. Every one of her staff is equally caring on a personal level. I leave feeling better just knowing she and her people genuinely care about my wellbeing. This is what a medical practice should be. I recommend her and her people without hesitation.

Dr Shim is the consummate professional, extremely thorough and you never feel like you are being rushed out as with many other doctors. You walk out of there with complete confidence you went to the right doctor.

Of all of the doctors I visited at Mount Sinai, Dr Shim and all of her staff proved to be the very, very best. Not only professional but extremely well trained. I could not recommend this office more highly.
