I had the honor to work with Dr Allison for many years at Marin Medical Center. He is highly skilled and most importantly always available to meet his patients needs at anytime with patience and grace. Dr. Allison thinks outside the box. Under his care my sister was diagnosed with Catatonia, a very rear condition, that has been overlooked or missed by many of the Psychiatrists and doctors she has seen over the past 5 years. It was under his care my sister was brought out of Catatonia using an innovative method that every doctor she has seen never thought to try. He actually takes a personal interest in his patients, almost like a challenge, to get them on the road to recovery. My entire family thanks you Dr. Allision for not giving up on Sharon. Your hard work, perseverance and out of the box thinking possible saved her live. Keep up the excellent work.

The single worst psychiatrist I have ever been too. He has no faith in his patients and is a poor judge when it comes to diagnosis. He is overall weak in communication skills namely listening and responding. He is disrespectful to his patients and pressures them to sign documents that do not pertain to the patients cause for admittance. I hope you do not have the misfortune of falling under this physicians care.
