saw Dr Bartol for second opinion about my back. He listened carefully and explained things fully. His waiting room is packed but he took as much time as I needed so I did not mind the wait.

One of the signs of a good surgeon is that he is very busy. Dr Bartol is incredibly busy and his waiting room is full of patients from all over the midwest. I was angry at first that I waited so long to see him but afterward I understood why. He is busy because he is good. My problem was very complex. I had several previous back operations that had failed. Dr Bartol know what was wrong, explained it to me and fixed me. Thank you Dr Bartol!

ANOTHER doctor had not properly diagnosed my situation, to a point where I became bedridden with back pain. I was passed off to a (pain) doctor who listened to what my issues were and discovered I actually had spinal problems. Surgery was scheduled with Dr. Bartol. Overall I was bedridden for 1 month prior to my surgery (December, 2013). Dr. Bartol and his staff were absolutely the best. TOP NOTCH! I am most grateful for what Dr. Bartol and his staff did for me.
