Best MD I have ever had. Dr. Buchanan is everything an MD should be and more.

If you are looking for a Dr that doesn’t even know you after 10+ years and keeps his back to you when speaking then you have found him. Zero empathy or compassion. Gives you the feeling he could care less.

Dr. Buchanan is by far the BEST, most responsive, caring MD and I am so grateful for the care he gave my college age daughter.

I truly am so very happy with my PCP Dr. Stephen Buchanan. He is kind, knowledgeable and treats me with great respect. He always answers all my questions and is very caring with doing my exams. I could not be happier with my PCP. My kids have leaned on me to change to my Mother's PCP but this will never happen. My doctor is perfect for me. Truly I feel fortunate to have him as my PCP.

I love to give negative 5 if that was an option. WORST ever. My family had been Dr. Buchanan's patients since 2009. Every time we had specific health concerns, he constantly and repeatedly mentioned one phrase 'you are not going to die of headache or sinus infection or fever....'. We were forcing ourselves to believe that he tried to be funny (of course not!) and we were tolerating as we were so used to his comments. We have great respect for medical professionals. But when I was concerned about returning to work, I asked if my past sinus infections could be a reason not to return to work, he again repeated 5 times in 3 minutes timeframe that I was not going to die of COVID19 given my age and other factors and didn't discuss physical. It clearly indicated his lack of empathy and care. He was also not culturally sensitive repeatedly talking about death especially during this period. I am ashamed of myself for being very tolerant with him and would never ever recommend him to anyone.

Has been my doctor for the last 13 years and I’m very happy with his care.

I have been going to Dr. Buchanan for 10 years or so now...Don’t pay any attention to the rediculous 1 star reviews he has. He is the best doctor I have ever been to. He is honest about everything and always takes time to listen. If he isn’t sure about a concern he will research it or send you to a specialist! He has told me honestly that some meds work and some don’t and it’s all trial and error which is true! He is attentive to my care and always follows up. I would never go to anyone else and my whole family goes to him too! Highly recommended

I have been going to Dr. Buchanan for about 15 years. I am always impressed by the time and care he takes with me and genuine concern. He provides excellent advice and I very much like his approach. I recommend Dr. Buchanan with enthusiasm and without hesitation.

My elderly mother is a patient of Dr. Buchanan's and we couldn't ask for a better doctor. He is compassionate, explains things in a way that is easy to understand, and includes us in the decision making process.

One of the worst doctors ever! Most of his advice is close to useless & seems to be serving his and his clinic's interest in some way. He gains from sickness and does not believe in prevention or being proactive. A doctor who thinks premature greying of hair is normal, does not consider recommended Vitamins/minerals (including Hb) to be important, recommends unsolicited tests, loves steroids is very dangerous. I cancelled my partner's preventive check with him. His smooth talk can fool you.
