RETIRED which leave Michigan City devoid of trusted Orthopedics. They are filling his shoes with out of county doctors as well as imported temporary doctors for other specialties. The local hospital is pushing doctors out of the area and new ones don't stay long.. In the last 10 years I have had 4 family practice doctors leave me to start over and I do not like that.

Dr Burns was great . He is direct and to the point but most important professional and performed surgery exactly as stated with great results. I had 2 total hip replacements. Left 03/12/18 and right on 7/16/18. My pain is gone . I will and have referred him to others . Also love his staff!

He was very short, very cold, in your face, to the point of rude and asked no questions about how I was feeling, waited an hour to talk to him for ten minutes while I was in pain, didn't even look at my back or do anything.
