Rotator Cuff repairs X2
Dr. Desio repaired my right shoulder rotator cuff last year and I had my left side done in February 2023. Both surgery’s went flawlessly, the procedure was well explained and everything went as expected, including a little more work while in there. We had a billing snafu with the hospital, Dr. Desio’s staff picked up on it and helped to resolve the issue. Dr. Desio is a cup half full person, very upbeat and caring to the patient as well as his staff, while I waited in preop at 6am, I heard Dr. Desio come in and greet everyone, again in a very upbeat, motivating person. Dr. D is just a great person who really knows his stuff! My right shoulder is perfect and the left will be there soon. Dr. D is well respected by the PT staff I have been working with, Thanks to Dr D and Staff for a great job all around.

Dr Desio replaced both of my knees. He is a great guy in the office and in the OR. Easy to talk with without him "talking down." He is a super athlete and understands the unique problems athletes incur. I would recommend him to anyone. He has Doug, his PA that does a lot of the pre and post things. A great guy too! He has what may be the easiest office staff to work with anywhere! What your ortho guy shoule be!

Dr. Desio repaired the shoulder severely damaged in a crash while road racing motorcycles on the track at Loudon, NH. The results were outstanding, and full range of motion as well as strength were eventually restored to the shoulder with a combination of supervised professional therapy and exercise. Fantastic result!

Dr. Desio is very professional, kind, and patient. He is an excellent surgeon, tells the patient the truth. He can only do part of the work, the rest is up to the patient doing Physical Therapy faithfully. I have recommended him many times, I trust him and his nurse Cheryl.

After a fall on ice at work, Dr. Dessio was my second opinion regarding surgery. He was clear about what I needed and what that would take. He took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed or silly. His office staff were professional and nice. Dr. Dessio was exactly right about what I needed and I could not have asked for a better outcome! 3 months post-op and I have full range of mobility, strength, and stability back in my shoulder. Thank you!

I highly recommend Dr Desio as an orthopedic surgeon. The time line within which I was scheduled for an office apt MRI and surgery was very reasonable. Dr Desio and his office staff were exceptionally accommodating efficient and very pleasant. My MRI displayed a complex injury to my rotator cuff. However through the expertise of a talented orthopedic surgeon my surgery was a success as well as my followup treatment plan. My shoulder is restored to full capacity and I am pain free.

Excellent surgeon! Always felt I was getting the best care. My shoulder replacement went perfectly.. Some office visits waiting time might be a bit long, but I know it is because Dr. Desio never rushes a patient. He will listen to all your concerns and put you at ease. I would highly recommend him.

I've had two total knee replacements by Dr. Desio. The first in 2015 and the second in 2017. The care that I've received from Dr. Desio and his staff has been over the top outstanding. Dr.Desio's follow up right after the surgery in recovery and during my physical rehab was beyond expectations. I would and have highly recommend Dr. Desio to friends and family.

I have been seeing Dr Desio for several years now due to an arthritic knee. After exhausting all my other options( cortisone, synvisc injections...), The time had finally come to replace the joint. Starting with the decision, to consultation, to preparation, to surgery, to post-care, Dr Desio and his staff have been fantastic. This is my third day after surgery and I'm well into my recovery with minimal pain.
