We were referred to Magee because of a rare kidney disease my son had. Our high risk mfm doctor unfortunately did deliveries at a high risk hospital that didnt accept upmc insurance. He talked up Dr. Emery and said he was a great colleague and in great hands. After going to Magee for many appointments and eventually my son passing away 24 hours after born, we never even met Dr. Emery. I guess he's only interested in cases that are innovative, get him in journals, and good for UPMC commercials....

Dr. Emery performed our chorionic villus sampling today and he was outstanding. Super professional, great bedside manner, explained everything he was doing before he did it. A super expert with the catheter, inflicting a minimum of discomfort during the procedure. Got it done in one shot as quickly and precisely as anyone could have. Great rapport with his nurses. Stayed late for our test after another doc made us wait. Strongly recommended.
