Hurried and dismissive
The doctor came in, talked at me for 3 minutes, demanded to know why I was even there, then dismissed both the kidney test results that led my PCP to refer me to him and my description of renal pain. He stated he couldn't help and literally ran out of the room. I've never seen anything like it. The only good to come out of it was that he eventually referred me to a different urologist who looked at the same results and ordered immediate follow up.

I met this Doctor and his associates with a trip to the emergency room with kidney stones. Altho I had another Urologist doctor/procedure scheduled for 36 hours later, the doctor saw into my patient portal, understood my history thus far, and explained in detail what needed to happen immediately. Two weeks later after the removal of stents form the other pre-scheduled procedure, I was back in the same ER with a bilateral blockage in both kidneys. The pre-scheduled procedure had not been successful, and Dr Eyre had to "clean up the mess". At all steps along the way, he and his associates made me feel as tho I was their only patient, knew everything I had had done and was scheduled to have done by the other doctor (whom I will never use again), and has made sure that I am kidney stone free. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Eyre and his Team. They are just excellent!

Office Practice
The Needham Urology staff is not helpful!. The Nurse Practitioner doesn’t return phone calls in a timely fashion or not at all. Typical answers when you call are if you’re having a problem go to the emergency room. Dr doesn’t do teleheath calls I do not recommend this practice . BI LAHEY should take a look at this practice and hire people who are respectful and competent.

Nearly zero follow-up. Very disappointed. :(
Short visit, nearly zero follow-up... they rarely answer the telephone and the recorded voice message places you on hold for a long and unreasonable time by any standard. The voice message indicates that you are in line to be answered after so many calls, which usually is very many, like up to 20+ in line. I gave up calling and waiting on hold and actually drove to their office to obtain my test results of which I was anxiously awaiting.

Very Kind and professional
I had excruciating pain from a kidney stone for about a week and a half...after 3 visits to the ER, I called Needham Urology associates, and Faith(the woman who answered the phone) was very compassionate, and was able to get me an appointment the next morning. When i got there, Lindsey helped me to get started, and within 10 minutes i was in a room. Dr Eyre came in about 10 minutes later and went straight to work. He told me exactly where it was, and what my options were to be. Since my visit, the pain has subsided, I am so happy to belong to the Needham Urology Associates family.
