Dismissive, incorrect, arrogant and basically useless. Had not read my file and knew nothing about my treatment. Why he even bothered to stop in is a mystery to me.

An excellent surgeon who was compassionate and did a fantastic job--performing 2 surgeries on me at the same time for both hernia and gall bladder. A great listener and explainer. Made the effort to check on me each day and also handled questions I personally wrote in about on North Shore Connect. Excellent work and right about each procedure.

I went to Dr. Haggerty twice - first in May of 2017 for an umbilical hernia mesh removal and suture repair and then just last week in December 2017 for another suture repair of an umbilical hernia. He has been nothing but gracious, excellent at what he does and was one of the VERY FEW qualified surgeons that would even talk to me about removing mesh that I was allergic to. Both surgeries went well. I admire him and the entire hospital staff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone! Thanks Dr. H.!!

Dr Haggerty performed a traditional hernia repair on me, from all of the horror stories I've heard, my experience was relatively painless and I was back to normal in a few days- playing volleyball again in about 6 weeks. I attribute this to his skill and care.

I would never recommend anyone going to Dr. Haggerty for WLS. He does not stand behind his work, take any responsibility or interest in his patients and their results. I am beyond disappointed in him and his complete lack of concern or regard for a surgery that he performed . My results have been unacceptable and he completely dismissed me with absolutely no answers to what is going on and and basically told me to figure it out or gain all my weight back so i can have another surgery

Dr Haggerty messed up my wife's prescription and wasted over 3 hours of our time trying to get it cleared up. He did not return phone calls and was oblivious to the aggravation he caused our family. If your going to write a prescription it would be helpful to write it for a product that exists and is readily available.
