Dr. Stephen Kang, MD

I found Dr. Kang thorough, professional, cheerful. I had no anxiety with him performing my surgery. The surgery went off without a hitch and his ENT staff made sure I had everything I needed for a good recovery. The hospital was the best I have ever been in.

Dr. Kang is a skilled, well trained head and neck surgeon who really cares about his patients. In all my 78 years, he is the only surgeon who ever called me at home the night before my hospitalization to discuss my upcoming surgery. He thoroughly explained the procedure, the expected outcome, the possible problems, and the recovery process to me and my wife. I felt confident with Dr. Kang and safe in his hands. I would highly recommend him to anyone facing head or neck surgery.

Dr. Kang was wonderful every step of the way! In every pre-op and post-op apt, he showed genuine concern that I understood everything correctly and had all of my questions answered. On the day of surgery, he was amazing. He was calm, clear, and kind. I felt comfortable and like I was in good hands. My parents were there that day in the waiting room and they said he gave them an excellent update when he was finished. Dr. Kang also made sure I was informed via phone of updates between apts, etc.

Dr Kang was very respectable and professional. From the time I met him and talked about my thyroid to the time I seen him for surgery he was always about his patients and how they were doing.

Dr. Kang is the best! My mother had thyroid cancer that was also in her lymph nodes. Other doctors wouldn't touch her. Dr. Kang was confident that he could remove it all, and he did. She barely even has a scar. He has an excellent bedside manner. He takes his time with his patients and their families. He explains things thoroughly and answers questions. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Kang was thorough in explaining the surgery he performed to remove a melanoma from my cheek and the follow up surgery to repair the area where the malignancy was removed. He addressed all of our questions and concerns. He is genuinely caring physician. I am very appreciative of what he did for me and would recommend him to others without any hesitation. He likewise has an excellent caring support team (Gail Himmelstein & Megan Adelman) who were very supportive through out my care.

Probably the best bed side manner I've encountered in the last 25 years. Caring, Compassionate, very thorough. Never felt rushed or that I was asking a stupid question. Staff is excellent as well.
