The best OB I’ve had
Not only is his staff amazing and personable, so is he. Phone calls never go unanswered, scheduling is super easy and didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes for each afternoon appointment I attended throughout my last pregnancy. I’ve lived in many states and have had 4 pregnancies with 4 different OB’s. Dr K is straight to the point no BS. I really like that about him. No sugarcoating anything when it comes to your health and baby and what he feels as a doctor is best. An opinion that I personally trust. I’m surprised to read some of the other responses on here but some people can be sensitive. Since moving here I’ve always recommended him to people who ask.

I started going to him last year in January, when I got pregnant with my second. From the very beginning he was really short and wouldn’t listen to my past history he would just cut me off. Since then I had a miscarriage and he just said “it happens just come back if you havent had it in two weeks”. A few months flies by and I get pregnant agian with thankfully a successful pregnancy, and once agian he is short with me, doesn’t listen to my concerns, just a horrible dr all around in my opinion. I am currently 37.5 weeks pregnant and a gestational diabetic who was told to be induced at 38 and not one time has he talked to me about a date. I have been having tons of pain and contractions and he just pushes my pain and concern to the side. I do not recommend you going to him, he is not a compassionate dr. He doesn’t talk or listen to you. It’s his way or no way.

Asked for a different dr in the hospital
When I showed up for my first appointment they had no record of me or my appointment. I often had to wait 30-45 minutes after my scheduled appointments to be seen. His wife would often work the front desk and was very rude. Another front desk lady hit my car with her own car door and scratched it while I was still in it, waiting for my appointment. When I let the office know, nothing was done. I was given many suggestions that didn’t feel safe, like drink a glass of wine to help your back pain. I was in a car wreck two weeks before my due date and the dr did not want to see me to check anything out. The morning of my scheduled induction he told me for the first time EVER that I would likely need a c-section. When I told him I didn’t want one, he told me it was up to him not me. After being induced and not progressing as quickly as I’d hoped I begged the nurses to find another Dr in the hospital to help me. When I did dilate and started pushing he was rough and mean. Ended in c-section.

Dr. Kerley was very attentive and listened completely to everything. He related very well to my daughter making her feel comfortable and at easy. We just moved here from another state and I am planning on making him my OB/GYN and would recommend him to anyone.

ATTENTION ALL SMOKERS: Dr. Kerley told me on my last visit that I stink to the point of making him sick by stinking up his entire office because I smoke. I heard his receptionist say, "Don't worry, I'll spray the room she was just in" while I was waiting for information about another doctor he was referring me to. He was not only unprofessional, but he is extremely arrogant, and does not listen to his patients' concerns about treatment or how they feel. I would NEVER recommend anyone go see him.
