Dr. Koehler explained my particular cancer to me in a calm thorough and detailed way. He explained pros and cons of possible procedures and more. It was his knowledge and understanding of my rare cancer that gave me back the quality of my life. Thank you Dr. Koehler. Blessings as you retire from the City of Hope. Doctors like you are rare to find. Thank you, Dr. Koehler and best wishes from one of your grateful patients who will miss you .

I have been referred to Dr. Koehler three times because of my bloodwork. The last time I was referred, my primary care physician suggested that a bone marrow biopsy be done to get to the bottom of why blood work was red flagged. As I rush from my work in North Hollywood to make my scheduled appointment, Dr. Koehler steps in for about 5 mins just to dismiss me and send me home. Instead of being proactive in finding out what is wrong with my system, I am guessing he is waiting for it to get so bad that I would be coming in with more serve symptoms. So disappointing because I could be getting treated for an autoimmune disease (Lymphatic Disease or Leukemia). Hope there is someone else they can refer me this year.
