Dr. Stephen Martiny, MD

I love dr martiny, he's very intelligent and takes time with his patients. He's always explained to me any questions I've had and in a way that I understand clearly. He is a great doctor.

Dr. Martiny is incredible. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but also he listens to my concerns. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care to their patients. I highly recommend Dr. Martiny!

He never seems to review my records until after I leave and then I get a call with new instructions that are very unclear. His nurse ignores messages that are left and the office manager is completely unprofessional and should be terminated. I think they are each covering for each other due to their own inadequacies

I had my physical with Dr. Martiny and we discussed my prescriptions in detail, among other things. A couple of months later I ran out of blood pressure medication and I called the office for a prescription. They refused to give it to me and demanded that I make an appointment to see the doctor in order to make sure that "the medication I was taking was the right one". So I guess he forgot that he was ok with it during the physical, or maybe he doesn't keep medical records? No. What they obviously want to do is to milk the payers for money, scheduling unnecessary appointments. Never again.

My family had job transfers from Texas, to Arkansas, and finally Georgia. I had two family doctors in GA prior to Dr. Martiny. One left for Academia (teaching) & the other retired. I researched Doctors in the Cumming area and decided the doctor for our family was Dr. Martiny. It was the best decision I could have made. Dr. Martiny is caring, researches any sickness you might have to find the exact best treatment, and continually stays in contact with you. He has called several times personally to inquire how a member of our family was. I wish I would rate him a triple five. Hes is definitely one of the few doctors left that cares and his staff cares too. He or his staff returns your calls immediately. If you want a doctor that is caring, highly trained, has years of experience and will take the best care of you and your family and has a fantastic staff look no further make an appointment with Dr. Martiniy. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Switched to Dr. Martiny as my primary care physician earlier this year and have been very pleased with him and his staff. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I never feel rushed through my appointments, which is unusual for doctors these days.

Dr. Martiny is awesome. He listens well, is conversational and very knowledgeable. Really enjoy his staff as well, everyone is friendly and helpful.

As a patient I would recommend Dr. Martiny to anyone looking for a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable primary care physician. He is helpful, his bed side manner is amazing and non judgmental. He is a great physician.

Really like Dr. Martiny. He takes the time to explain what he thinks is going on, how he plans on testing or finding out what the problem could/couldn't be and what the alternatives might be. He takes time explaining treatment options, how they "work," and the advantages/disadvantages of each. He is very open to questions and loves talking about the process for diagnoses and subsequent treatment.

Great Doctor with a lousy staff. Hard to communicate with for persctiptions. Hard to leave a message that he receives. No communication out side his office due to his lazy staff.

Dr. Martiny is very caring and knowledgeable. What I like most is his innovative thinking, not just treating my sypmtoms and current condition but addresses issues that may arrive. I've been a patient for years and although I dont like the commute, I drive from dunwoody to Cumming for his expertise
